    Default Necrony's Solo Heal spec

    The Build (Warden-Sentinel-Purifier)
    http://rift.magelo.com/en/soultree#p...5lhkyh0/m9hk0g

This is an improved version of this powerful build/guide http://forums.riftgame.com/rift-gene...nt-healer.html
I use this build, because is very powerful and balanced, and Latent Blaze is better than Healer's Covenant.

    Buffs:

Shared Excess (cast on the Tank)
    Healer's Blessing
    Wisdom of the Ages
    Heroic Resolve
    Sign of Daring

    Pre-Cast Spells

Latent Blaze: Your double-super-mega-awsome spell. Keep The "Latent Blaze" macro on the tank all the time. You can also use this spell on your party/raid member (without macro).
Soothing Stream: Your main HoT spell. Keep 4 stacks on the tank, and for the largest efficiency try to refresh it every 5-7 secs.
Healing Spray: Always keep on the tank.
Healing Flood: Not bad and AoE.

    Priority

    Single Target Priority:
Use Pre Cast spells and spam the ST macro. Refresh Latent Blaze, and use Boom macro if you need BIg heal.

    AoE Priority
Use AoE macro and Ripple when you need.

    MaCRo'S

    ST
    #show Healing Breath
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Symbol of the Torch
    cast Healing Breath
    cast Orbs of the Stream
    cast Healing Flare

    Boom
    #show Overflowing Renewal
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Flashover
    cast Touch the Light
    cast Tidal Surge
    cast Overflowing Renewal

    AoE
    #show Pool of Restoration
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Pool of Restoration
    cast Healing Effusion

    ST Cleanse
    #show Curative Waters
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast @self Curative Waters

    AoE cleanse
    #show Cleansing Waters
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast @mouseoverui Cleansing Waters
    cast @group01 Cleansing Waters
    cast @group02 Cleansing Waters
    cast @group03 Cleansing Waters
    cast @group04 Cleansing Waters
    cast @group05 Cleansing Waters
    cast @group06 Cleansing Waters
    cast @group07 Cleansing Waters
    cast @group08 Cleansing Waters
    cast @group09 Cleansing Waters
    cast @group10 Cleansing Waters

PS: I love you... just kidding.
Seriously Open Water is your best friend.

Comment and critiques are welcome but please be gentle.

Thanks for posting. This looks like exactly what I was looking for when I adopt a heal spec this week. I'l give it a shot and see how it works out.

I'd change up the boom macro. It'd be nice to use flashover/tidal surge with latent blaze whenever you need to refresh it.

Which macro do you mean? Can't find a macro with Latent Blaze in it or am I just blind?

Isn't Cleansing Waters the single target ability and Curative Waters the AoE cleanse?

I was just wondering the same thing. Cleansing Waters being used in a macro like that would surely only be useful on groups over 10?

Either way, I look forward to hearing peoples thoughts on this as my new healer is still levelling (and I like to "grow into" my specs).

I'm kind of curious what people think, too. I played WoW for years, and always loved healing, from 5-mans to pvp to 40-mans to heroics. I quit playing MMORPGs for about a year and have just returned as of two weeks ago. Trying to build a good healer spec, but no luck so far. This one looks great, but as I'm not super familiar with healing mechanics in Rift, I'm eager to see what the long time vets think.

The "AoE cleanse" macro he provided is actually a ST cleanse that will cleanse the first group member it finds that needs cleansing. Curative Waters used to be a ST cleanse-over-time (CoT?) so that's perhaps why it's there, but now it is an actual AoE cleanse.

Forgot they played around with the names a bit.

I don't have a problem with the macro itself, I use similar ones. Just the name for it was throwing me off.

The names haven't changed, they've been the same for years. Curative Waters was changed to an AOE cleanse recently - although this is exactly what the Grinnz has just written, so I'm not sure why you're still confused.

Not confused after TheGrinnz's post, thank you.

Sorry, my wording of things tends not to be the best for various reasons. It would have been much more accurate for me to say "functionality" than "names'.

I do not worry though. I have the great people of the internet to point out my mistakes for me so that I may learn by them.
