    Default Cleric Guide Compilation 1.11

This is designed to be a guide compilation for 1.11 and beyond. These are the builds I am currently using. These are not set in stone and have been written from personal experience and from other posts on the forums. My idea is to get the ball rolling and create a comprehensive list of builds/guides.

This is a work in progress so feel free to post all comments, ideas, builds & guides and I will update this compilation accordingly.

    Solo levelling build

    46 shaman 20 inquisitor 0 justicar

    http://rift.magelo.c...ih9hlkg/n8iE8/r

This is a nice faceroll spec for those who like melee - with self heals from Vex, Glory of the Chosen and Salvation.

    Buffs:

    Courage of the Eagle
    Heart of the Frozen Sea
    Glory of the Chosen
    Shroud of Agony
    Armor of Devotion
    Vengeance of the Primal North

    ST macro:

    #show Icy Blow
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Rage of the North
    cast Sanction Heretic
    cast Massive Blow
    cast Icy Blow
    cast Ekkehard's Grasp

Put Jolt on a separate button - only use jolt when it procs as it does way more damage.

    AOE macro:

    #show Soul Drain
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Rage of the North
    cast Deep Freeze
    cast Soul Drain
    cast Avalanche Strike

After avalanche strike use Strike of the Maelstrom then aoe macro then Strike of the Maelstrom and so on (avalanche strike applies debuff which increases dmg of maelstrom)

When pulling a pack of mobs apply Vex to each one for self-heals then start your aoe macro - deep freeze stuns them allowing you to get off soul drain.

    Other skills include:

    Ride the Lightning (charge)
    Windwalk (dodge buff)
    Ageless Ice (mana)
    Harsh Discipline (channeled heal)

    Inquisitor DPS (credit to Tournique)

Single target dps build - shaman and druid appear to be doing higher dps but inquisitor brings the Clinging Spirit raid debuff (5% magic dmg)

Note: there are many variants under testing so this may not prove highest Inq dps - will probably need updating as more info is gathered.

    51 Inquisitor 10 Shaman 5 Sentinel

    http://rift.magelo.c...8iAG9b8w/l8g/p8

    Buffs:

    Armor of Awakening
    Spiritual Protection
    Heroic Resolve

    Macros:

    #show Bolt of Retribution
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Sanction Heretic
    cast Bolt of Retribution

    #show Bolt of Depravity
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Fanaticism
    cast Bolt of Depravity

Circle of Oblivion isn't worth a point now (nerfed by 40% and only hits 5 targets)

Nysyr's Rebuke is now a huge DPS gain. You get stacks to make BoD instant-cast AFTER you reach 5 stacks from any of the following abilities: Sanction Heretic, Bolt of Judgment, Bolt of Retribution, Nysyr's Rebuke (1 stack per tick of the channel).

Every time you hit the Spam macro, count in your head. When you reach 5, the next attack should be the BoD macro.

    Three things to consider:

    1) Never start channeling Nysyr's Rebuke if you have more than a single stack of Life and Death Concord up, you just end up wasting stacks.

    2) Time it so Vex hits just as it falls off.

    Rotation:
    Opener --
    Spam x2 (macro)
    Vex
Spam x3 (macro) ----- 5 stacks at this point
    BoD (macro)
    Nysyr's Rebuke
Spam x1 (macro) ----- 5 stacks at this point
    BoD (macro)
    Vex

If you do the timing right, this method maximizes the uptime on everything.

After the initial opener, you just hit your spam macro (counting stacks to 5,) refresh Vex as needed, then the BoD macro when it's up.

    Tank Heal (Purifier)

    51 Purifier 15 Sentinel 0 Warden

    http://rift.magelo.c...kGA5aBay/p8yY/r

Purifier plays quite similar to before 1.11 - mainly involves casting a single target heal on the tank in order to heal & shield. The cooldowns puri has for the tank are also similar. The main changes are in the single target shield and the 2x aoe shields.

    Self Buffs:

    Caregiver's Blessing
    Sign of Anticipation
Wisdom of the Ages & Heroic Resolve (if not in a raid)

    Other Buffs:

    1. Eruption - put this on the tank

    2. Latent Blaze macro - put this on the tank for crit heal when he goes below 30% hp:

    #show Latent Blaze
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Flashover
    cast Latent Blaze

    Main spells:

    Tank heal macro:

    #show Ward of Fire
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Symbol of the Sun
    cast Ward of Fire

The ST shield is insane now - other healers should avoid casting 0pt puri shield as it prevents the main puri healer casting a bigger shield on people.

When a player is shielded they cannot be shielded for 10 seconds (this is with talents).

    Fast heal macro:

    #show Ward of Scorching
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Symbol of the Sun
    cast Ward of Scorching

This is a fast heal but uses a lot of mana (emergencies).

    Cooldowns:

    1. Touch the Light Macro - instant crit heal:

    #show Touch the Light
    suppressmacrofailures
    stopcasting
    cast Touch the Light
    cast Flashover
    cast Ward of Fire

    2. Spiritual Conflagration - heals and shields bigtime - life saver.

    3. Rite of the Forge - applies a shield every 3 secs for 15 secs

    AoE Shields:

Puri now has 2 aoe shields:

Gathering of Flames - big shield on 10 players which heals when the absorb is used up (1 min cd)

Symbol of the Hearth - shields 7 players but is spammable to cover whole raid - remember it will debuff players for 10s so they can't be shielded so make sure Symbol of the Sun is up on the tank.

    Other spells:

Soul Brand - mana regen - gives insta mana each time u use it but creates a stacking +5% dmg taken debuff - can stack 5 times to give 25% debuff (not advisable in some fights so be careful).

Sterilize - cleanses all debuffs (10s cd)
    Cauterize - cleanses one debuff.

    Raid Healing (warden variants)

Warden builds vary so I'm posting the two builds I am currently using - always open to suggestions.

    1. 42 warden 24 Justicar 0 Sentinel

    http://rift.magelo.c...a5l5h0/rkk1Ow/p

    2. 44 warden 22 Sentinel 0 Justicar

    http://rift.magelo.c...a5l5h0/pkaAkg/r

Warden takes the place of DoL builds of the past.
The main insta aoe heals are:

Healing Effusion - uses a lot of mana
Pool of Restoration - 15s cd

    I have these two macrod:

    #show Pool of Restoration
    suppressmacrofailures
    stopcasting
    cast Tidal Surge
    cast Pool of Restoration
    cast Healing Effusion

The main issue with warden is how you regen mana in order to maximise your effusion spam.

Build 1 allows you to regen mana using Purpose from Justicar. This requires you to be in melee but has the advantage of healing with salvation while you regen mana.

I use two macros for this:

    #show Even Justice
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Purpose
    cast Even Justice

    #show Strike of Judgement
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Purpose
    cast Even Justice

If you are hitting a single target use Strike of Judgement macro as single target skills heal for more with salvation.

Build 1 is the fastest mana regen so allows you to max effusion spam while healing with salvation.

Build 2 has slower mana regen using Open water but has the advantage of range (build 1 can obviously do this also if needed).

    Build 2 also has:
    - more heal talents
    - Healers Covenant
    - aoe cleanse
    - orbs of the tide - nice raid heal with 1min cd
    - ability to do some tank healing with HI
    - speed buff for maelforge bubbles etc
    - touch the light for insta heal:

    #show Touch the Light
    suppressmacrofailures
    stopcasting
    cast Tidal Surge
    cast Touch the Light
    cast Healing Invocation

    DPS as warden:

If using build 1 you will be meleeing with the macros above. If mana is not needed you can dps using Bolt of Radiance and Geyser. In build 2 just spam Geyser.
Geyser has advantage of healing also. I am not that impressed with cast time dots when our role is to aoe heal.

    Other notable spells:

Shared Excess - some debate over this but I cast this on myself as most warden spells centre around the cleric and my health will probably be closer to full most of the time whereas the tank may not be.

Oversaturation - keep this up on boss for dps.

Talent choices in warden are up to personal taste:

    - I included Fluidity and Invigoration as I think it is worth keeping Healing Flood up when possible for trickle aoe healing and to boost healing by 10% for effusion spam.
    - I don't have ripple as we are aoe raid healers - feel free to add ripple if you feel it is useful in 5 man groups.
    - I didn't include Orbs of the Stream as it isn't that useful for a raid healer.

    Sentinel Healing

I have not had time to consider sentinel as a second tank healer or "swiss army spec" - feel free to post any ideas.

It is early days in 1.11 so feel free to add comments and other specs so we can work together to create a compilation of guides.

    Your 51 Inquisitor Build Rotatioin:
Would it not be better to go 10cab 5sent for the 10% increase dot damage from cab for Vex, SH, and Nysyr's damage? I understand the shaman, but I've wondered if Cab would be better.

Your rotation, would it not be better to use Life and Death Concord at 4 stacks instead of 5 as that's when the cast time is about the GCD? That way you throw like 20% more BoDs than waiting for it to be instant.

    51 purifier build
Would it not be better to go only 13 in sent and pickup 4% sp over the healing effectiveness? Also picking up heal speed if the target is under 50%. Something like this is what I use.

Bolt of Depravity and Bolt of Retribution are still a big part of your damage, which would not be affected by the 10% DoT damage. Also as your BoD would be doing higher damage so would Symbol of Corruption.

However I think 2 points in Singled Out are better than the extra 2% crit chance. At least if you don't have Crit Power yet.

That being said. At higher gear levels 10 Cabalist seems like it will be better than 10 Shaman, but the 5 points would go into the Wisdom talent. The combined 20% Spell Power from Sentinel and Inquisitor combines well with the increased wisdom. Also as Wisdom now increases your spell crit, as you get better gear with higher wisdom the crit gap between 10 shaman and 10 cabalist will slowly decrease.

I loved my cleric support. Are there any guides to it yet?

What already discussed 44 pt build?
Im pretty sure 51 pt builds are the top Inquisitor builds since they nerfed Symbol of Corruption.

I'm pretty sure no one has beat my best ranged Inquisitor parse from PTS, and plenty of people have similar gear to me.

The best ranged Inquisitor spec is 51 inq/10 shaman/5 sent.

World First: Progenitor Saetos, Kain the Reaper, Rise of the Phoenix Conqueror
Guardian First: Laethys, Rusila, Dragon Eggs, Hardmode Conclave, Perfect Akylios, Hammerknell Conqueror
US First: Gelidra, Artifex Zaviel, Twins, Crucia, Falconer Zoles, Cyril, Jultharin, Typhiria, Matriarch, Goloch, Regulos, Salvarola

51 Inq/11 Ward/4 Sent consistently out performs both the Cab/Sent and Sham/Sent variants. It's just a matter of determining if it's better to 4 stack cast BoD or not.

Out of curiosity what did you parse and what kind of buffs did you have? Been doing some extensive testing that saw this spec parse higher as well but I chalked it up to crit RNG being good where there are no raid buffs. However, I haven't had a chance to test any of the Inquisitor specs in raid.

Just wanted to say thanks a bunch for this thread. Having not played in like three months it's nice to see something like this to help me relearn the class/figure out the changes.

Wrong. I consistently parse higher with 10 Sham 5 Sent.

    The math also supports this

    1 min rotation inlcudes

    24 BoR casts
    6 BoD
    4 SH
    4 Vex
    1 Nys (2 GCD's)

Pros to the 10 sham 5 sent
you have to take into account that SH and Vex have 10% increased crit chance
(making 10 sham 5 sent scale more, since SH + Vex contribute more to total damage than Nys)
BoD's hit harder, making the 30% bleed effect be larger as well

    Warden Pros contribution
the warden build has 2% total crit over the 10 Sham 5 sent
Wardens Tidal Surge takes effect on the full cast of Nysyrs

when you do all the math for this, 10 Sham 5 sent comes out slightly ahead,
however I will be keeping both builds, the warden for water jet during movement phases

the results also coincide with my parses on the dummy, i parse about 50-100 DPS higher in 10 Sham 5 sent
