    You can be top DPS and do almost more healing than the next two healers combined.

    Please note, these parses show a comparison of larger heals between one individual and an actual healer. My only motivation for showing these parses (as I generally do not include names) is to highlight how healing has been affected in the current state of PVP.

    Warriors' Enduring Survival heals for more than most healers' basic heals/HOTs and it triggers automatically every 3 seconds. I have seen, on average, the heals trigger for anywhere between 2-4k. When certain abilities with CDs hit this hard, how is it legitimate to heal it off through a level 61 mastery -- whereas a healer's basic ability may heal for 1.8k with a cast time of 1.5s?

    The same applies for Planar Variation for rogues, however I have noticed it seems to hit just slightly lower than Enduring Survival.

    For some reason, Primalists', Mages', and Clerics' masteries do not seem to be the same. They heal, on average, for around 150-200 health every 3 seconds.

    Is this a function of certain skills healing for a % of your total health versus skills that heal for a fixed (then reduced) amount?

    Yes, it is. For each stack of greed you have, it will heal you for 6% of your total health. A healer's 100% heals have been toned down to the point where the health gain is incredibly insignificant -- and even their spammable heals aren't in comparison to a Warrior's 61 mastery.

    (Rime, for instance, may heal for 1.8k and takes 1.5s to cast. In the time a Frostkeeper has barely healed for 4k using manual abilities, a Warrior has done so passively while still outputting damage at a decent rate).


    Aggressive Avarice is has no CD, and can be cast instantly with appropriate stacks of Greed. Greed is not difficult to accumulate -- each Greed spell cast gives the user a 70% chance to gain an extra stack.

    My point still remains: is the hit to healing as necessary as this? DPS classes can out heal full healers.
