    This only shows how bad the state of CQ is.

    Not only that it is not fun at the moment, it is also not rewarding. The "jackpot" Heart of the Frozen is not hard to get anymore, 3/4 HM RoF, drop from Crafting Rifts and the higher availability of T2 items makes them nearly obsolete. The other few marks you get for a win, which basically is a 33% chance, are nothing compared to the payout for other content. With the new PTW weeklies you hit VS and ACM cap each week anyway.

    It is like it always was, join in last 5min to roll the dice, if you are in the winning team stay for 1x win weekly.

    I haven't done the kill weekly for months, as the only way to do it is playing 50 CQs or farming turrets, which is even more brainless.

    Conquest needs a dev paying attention to it, the idea behind it is not bad - but the realization is. To succeed there need to be nice payouts for active participation and small success too, not only for the win (and even the win payout is bad now). Also maybe some turn the table mechanics, so hope is not lost when one side is dominant. Does anyone even use the CQ craftables anymore? What happened to that idea, to get the crystals to get buffs for your team etc.?

    This holds true for Warfronts as well as Conquest. Outside of forming a PM, we have absolutely no control over the composition and quality of our teams. And even running a PM only goes so far in mitigating against terrible team mates. It is immensely frustrating to have all of one's efforts ruined by the indifference and/or incompetence of others, and to receive absolutely no rewards (aside from a much-reduced amount of favour) due to the bad luck of having been placed with a bad team.

    There are a multitude of possible ways in which Trion could rectify this and encourage more participation and enjoyment of Rift's current PvP activities, including:
    - tying favour gains to performance
    - introducing weekly, daily, or repeatable quests tied to certain performance achievements
    - attaching temporary bonus buffs (such as +% favour/xp) to achievements and titles gained in PvP (e.g. Saviour, Killing Spree, Juggernaut)
    - etc

    If Trion were more savvy, they would be making much better use of these forums to fish for suggestions and ideas to improve the state of PvP within Rift.
