Default Why are there no CQ balance?

In a WF, if the teams are too unbalanced the match ends prematurely.

Why does CQ allow a full raid (PM) to join when the other sides cannot even get a single group together? The match should just end.

....And all the PM will jump and give their reason why they don't want this. It's obviously unbalanced anytime overnight. I can see a full raid on one side and not a person on the other with the 3rd not even holding an entire party together.

an imbalanced match would end very quickly if the non premade teams would just stop taking extractors and let the premade hit 66%.

but no, pugs cant think for themselves, so they require Trion to introduce mechanics that does the thinking for them.

I think a bigger problem, harder to see with the lower number of people that do CQ currently, is post-mades. I've been in them and played against them, but they inherently aim to unbalance the match. Right now it's generally just one, maybe two PMs that join at the start, and most others who join get placed on the other one/two teams.

10-15 minutes in, once the teams are somewhat balanced a postmade joins and suddenly ~20-30 people on each team becomes 20v20v40. In actual fights this is pretty impossible to go against, skill is largely irrelevant in a 1:20 ratio fight.

I'd like to see something where the longer CQ has been active, the lower the limit on group-size when joining is. 20 person in the first 5 minutes, 15 until 10 minutes, 10 until 15 minutes, 5 max after that. Would prevent huge-swinging postmades in terms of numbers.

The entire system already seems designed to quickly reward PreMades so they can farm chests but really...
    That's your solution: surrender?

    Default pvp balance..

well its a simple solution too it all, reduce the premade ratio.
i come from another game, where you was allowed too pre make a group, simple thing was , it was limited on what you could do in public battles. why? simple, more than 3 on 1 side unbalanced the teams .
so they made it simple, no more than 3 people pre made on 1 side in regular battles. want to do more than that? go in too ranked battles.
cq, you can upgrade too 5 on a premade side.
yes you can try and do a count in, get on the same team, that can happen, but its a chance you take.
next thing needed, limit healers, its been done in many other types of online play, where a certain class can decide the battle, so simple, no more than 2 healers per team. if you want too change to healer in battle, option is locked unless some one else goes dps.
limit the healers max 2 per wf, 4 in cq , limit pre mades, 3 in wf, 5 in cq, and see what a huge difference will happen.
off course, that might require some people too actualy get some skill, of some type, and not rely on pay per win healer buddies, but hey, all the top end players claim they got skills , but face it, alone they die, badly, with pre mades, and 5 healers they are invincible.

Why then, even be in CQ if you aren't on the PM?

To be farmed? To lose after wasting (literally wasting) your time?

I never stick in any CQ due to it's horrible system myself (only join like most players to see if I"m on winning team at the end), but you just gave the best argument for not even joining CQ, period.

Rheven said it correctly. Your solution is surrender? Lol. Why even join?

    @Rheven & Wrastion:

letting a premade start the timer isn't surrendering, its shortening the suffering.
ask any of the premade leaders what it means to control the most extractors at the start of the timer.

if the pugs had half a clue, the premade would lose every time

Dont allow PUG's join CQ, problem will solve by itself. In premade raids you can organize things better and prevent your mates from attacking wrong extractors in wrong time. PUG's just ruin everything and often even help the premade by taking wrong extractors and leaving them unbuffed so when time starts premade just walk like in the park and get few % ontouched while PUG's get stuck fighting some other noobs until timer ends.
PvP in RIFT is good only @forum.
