    Default Lower the Ceiling in Pvp

    I hope one or more Dev's reads this post.

    The ceiling is too high. Raid t1 should not be the ceiling in pvp. Why?

    1).There are a lot of people who will never raid and it is unfair to a lot of us.
    2). We now have guilds in raid gear stomping the hell out of ppl in wfs. This is not competitive at all. Not for the overly gear team in T1 raid gear nor for those in experts or less. No skill is involved here.
    3) Set the ceiling on equal footing so that it can be competitive again for all, not just those farming in raid T1 gear. Set it to experts.

    Yes I know about those drops you may or may not get from winning wfs. But the upgrades for those are horrendous. Its easier just to do dungeons and upgrade that.

    Set the ceiling to at least expert upgraded gear and lets have some real competition where u have to have skill..... not gear to win a wf.

    You dont have to raid anymore to get T1 gear, since they made an event which allow you to get random T1 items even if you do only pvp. All you need is 125? random WF wins (Without any charges) to get these 500 quest items.
    PvP in RIFT is good only @forum.

    gear disparities are very small at the moment. not a lot of people have more than one or two pieces of raid gear, and almost no one has weapons. the difference is mostly in essences and runes, since almost everything people are wearing is coming from experts. bis expert gear, a decent sigil with 176+ essences, and bis runes and you're 95% there.

    Gear is the least of the worries in PvP right now.

    I'd try to defend the ceiling by saying "you can get t1 gear while pvping, so of course it isn't bolstered" but then there are hearts of the frozen that come from conquest (PvP), that allow you to get t1 relics, which ARE bolstered down...

    Raid weapons should be bolstered though, they can't come from PvP via marks or boxes, and by far create the largest imbalance (not that there are many out there yet)

    The trinkets from the dungeons are the only things that are remotely making a noticeable impact in TTK. Raid gear players will be a problem in a pm eventually.The gear altogether adds up. Besides that we are at probably the most balanced point in pvp at the moment.

    Except, you know, how the Dreambreaker CP final upgrades destroy some raid pieces until you're CP capped for every class.

    Also you get fragments from PVP too for raid level gear.

    lol, try 200 wins. pvpers should be raid gear by the time RIFT 6.0 launches

    Yes, that's what I meant. Relic raid weapons are bolstered down and do not have any proc effects. It also does not include any consumable item on it.

    At least with the old system you knew where top level was and that it was attainable via PVP .. that was the ceiling. Now no one has a real clue as to what will be coming or what is allowed and what is not until someone calls foul. Then the bar will be moved and those doing PVP but not raiding will have it all to do to catch up even if it is possible.
