    Rules/ Format:
    There will be four teams, and each team will get to play every team in the field (every series between each team will be best 3 out of 5 games). The team with the best record wins the tournament. If there is a tie for the best record, the team that won the head to head series wins the tournament.

    1. All classes, souls and specs are legal.

    2. All gear is legal.

    3. All consumables are legal.

    4. We will wait for up to two min for CD's to be ready per match.

    5. Jumping out or leaving the arena during a match will result in a loss of match for your team (if you happen to be feared or CC'd out of the arena you have 5 sec to reenter).

    6. Soul Walk is not allowed.

    7. No running back into the active match if you have been killed.

    8. Battle Rez is legal.

    9. 4 and 5 healer teams will not be allowed due to time constraints.

    10. Using Jete's Bouncemaster 5000 is a DQ.

    11. Disconnects are unfortunate, but there will be no match redo's if a player d/c's during an active game.

    12. If a match in a series goes over 8 min and neither team was annihilated, the team with the most deaths loses.

    13. If a match in a series goes over 8 min and each team had no deaths (or same amount of deaths), it will be called a stalemate (1-1); if the next match in the series is called a stalemate it will go (2-2). If the last match in the series is called a stalemate, there will be a tiebreaker game; and all players on both teams must go dps souls, and we will have one arena staff member on each team running a parse to detect any healing/shielding violations (all consumables legal).

    Prizes:

    1. Each team will receive 10 Depleted Supply Crates (2 per player).

    2. The team with the best record will receive 1500 plat (300 per player)
    a. If there is a two team tie, the team with the head to head victory wins.
    b. If there is a three team tie, the plat will be divided (100 per player).
    The first place team will also get two 160% token tablets per player.

    c.The second place team will get one 160% token tablet per player.

    d.The third place team will receive one rune unsocketing apparatus (per player), one 80% token tablet (per player), and a dimension Black Garden key (one of which is generously donated by Verity@Greybriar).


    Future: If more then enough teams sign up, we will have a 2nd group of teams playing Monday June 9th.

    You have to be an idiot to allow more than 2 healers in 5vs5, lol. Last time there was 1 healer + 2 dps or support + dps and it would often last forever. With 2 healers amount of cross-healing and rezing will be beyond ******ed anyway. (since some support or even hybrid dps can grab rez as well)

    You should also specify how much points can one have in healing soul to not be counted as healer.

    Another thing is only 2min max delay for CD's, while battle rez have 5min CD's which may have huge impact on wining or losing. This is why rezing shouldn't be allowed.

    Allowing PvE weapons is also risky as you can swap them even in combat thus giving unfair advantage to BIS PvE weapons.
    PvP in RIFT is good only @forum.

    What if you get knocked into terrain that you get stuck in?

    Why not put those damage zones around the arena so if they leave the ring they take damage? Could lead to an interesting meta to the match.

    You've said this a few times and despite that, the last tourn no one was using a PVE weapon and of the people that were in that tourn Naked, Nefy and myself are the only individuals that are raiding T3 content and none of us have T3 weapons (at least I don't think Nefy does yet) or any PVE weapons equipped.

    And again, no one is going to waste more than one GCD to weapon swap. And if you weapon swap again, it resets that GCD all over again.

    Maybe because not many players who pvp have them, but it doesnt change the fact that you lose only ~10% dmg reduction for huge dps gain which is what you usually need. With more than 1 healer per team it will be even easier to keep dps alive thus more benefit from PvE weapons.
    PvP in RIFT is good only @forum.

    I don't know anything about dimension fighting, but can you have more than 2 teams fight simultaneously like a CQ setup?

    Considering majority of the people in the last tourney barely even have gear for dungeons.. I'd say it's a non-factor. The only individuals in the tourney that even raided (T2 and T3), I already listed. Plus, ain't no one gonna waste a GCD to weapon swap.

    It will be much harder to get stuck in this design, but if it happens there will be a match reset.

    I agree on having 2 healers max actually

    Rule update: 3,4,and 5 healer teams are not allowed

    The arena is designed to limit the amount of clutter that players could possibly get stuck in.

    All depends on how many people are in your dimension, you can create matches that mirror conquest scale with three factions being the max.
