    Dev Team Meeting about Conquest:

    "We have a big problem with afkers in conquest and need to do something about it!"

    "HERE HERE i have a GREAT idea"

    "tell us"

    "instead of only giving them prestige and favor every 10 minutes without doing **** in the spawn, how about we also give them a mark of conquest every 100 kills the OTHER players do on the battlefield!"

    "great, lets do that!"

    I joined to afk timer like always and even got a handful of extra marks too! Oh my team won as well.

    It's OK, they'll implement a solution to AFKing after all the AFKers have already AFK'd their way to their CQ trinkets. This solution will also nerf rewards for honest players moving forward. (See: fishing).

    The one I was in last night someone pulled the war golem into the base, and hilarity ensued.
    Even free cost too much now

    Am a tad surprised they didn't make it like the CQ kill weekly - where you have to be there for the kills.

    AFKing to get marks through this method is dreadfully long and lacks efficiency compared to grabbing marks at the end, but it doesn't encourage the right thing.

    They absolutely should have done something about afking before boosting rewards.

    I have said this before but every ten minutes before the ten minute timer if a player has not capped an extractor, died to an enemy, killed an enemy or crafted something they get booted.

    Obviously anyone who comes in between timers gets an exemption for the first check.

    Also if you get booted from this check you get a twenty five hour debuff preventing you from doing conquest again.

    You want to go a long way toward fixing AFKers? Remove the PvE incentive.

    I don`t understand why they can make it like this:

    1 Mark per every 100 kills you participate
    1 Mark per every extractor taken, you must be near (maybe with a total cap of 20 to avoid extractor trading)
    1 Mark per every buff crafted
    10 Marks for lose
    20 Marks for tie
    30 Marks for win

    No, it shouldn't offer drastic PvE buffs. Neither conquest power nor the trinket should be BiS for PvE.

    I am not justifying anything. I'm saying it's a win/win when either there is a PvE alternative to the same benefits that conquest power/trinket offers, or they are no longer linked and raids no longer allow CP/trinket.

    Why you think a raider should put many hours into pvp to have the best PvE stuff is mind-boggling. It's the same thing as when relic weapons were BiS for PvP; that made zero sense.
