    Default PVP Boot Camp

Before a player can play a WF, it should be mandatory they know how to play. Make them play a few dozen practice games before they enter a real WF.

This boot camp will make everyone happy PVP'ers.

There wouldn't be enough players for regular games to pop then.

Yikes...there are only a few PVP'ers on at any one time?

The pvp pool of players has shrunk dramatically.

    I love your idea though!

If I'm not mistaken, you can speak with the NPC's and they will explain how each map works. It is better though if people are shown, like a "Tool Tip" would pop the first time you are near a cap point or the first time you grab a stone. The Karthan Ridge was odd to me my first time in, but people quickly pointed me in the right direction. I still don't know all the methods for winning a Port Scion battle, I just focus on running stones. I'm certain if more people focused on the objectives the matches would go faster, but you can also take it upon yourself to inform people that may not know better (in a kind way, not yelling "Grab the effing pots you noobs!!").

The community could do this in the middle of warfronts without any development needed, but that's probably wishful thinking.

It's hard enough to get people to listen when you have the power to kick them from a guild, much less when they're people in a random group and you may never see them again.

Randomness and anonymity have really shrunk accountability.

Tons of PvPers on at any given time but most wouldn't pass anything resembling a PvP Boot

    Camp.

It would be even cooler if a description of the warfront and its objectives were, I dunno, say under the "join" buttons in the PvP > Warfronts panel. Maybe with a preview of the map. That would be neat.

Boot camp wouldn't really change anything. Afterall there are tons of derps with 50+ rank. It would be nice if they had a better description on the queue list and did away with the "tip popup" when you enter a WF type for the first time.

One day people will realize that time played does not equal skill or ability.

Heck, there are still people who don't even know their own class and have full freelancer gear.

This applies to pve too: the worst healer I've ever come across in a level 50 expert was a full ID mage. I've been healed better by a fresh 50 cleric in greens.

But bads will be bads. The definition of bad is someone who refuses to learn how to play their class well. It's essentially a self-perpetuating definition.

This is so true. I've been playing Cleric since headstart and I'm still terrible!
