This is why Port Scion should just be converted to a Deathmatch. Or for fun, toy around with it as a bonus weekend scenario. This is just the beginning of the expansion. Balancing this silly WF gets thrown off kilter any time player power increases/fluctuates. Having it "just right" is pretty hard when there's 4 - 5 level variance in the WF. Even at 60 though, they could balance it around properly geared 60 players. It will just come full circle. Just like in the 50 end game era the mobs were eventually boosted to compensate for new content releases increasing player power significantly. This is just a balancing act this WF will have to maintain the entire time. If this wasn't turned into a deathmatch, I'd wager even having both variations of Whitefall available full time would beat losing CTF and keeping this WF in on the table.

Not to mention deathmatch would kind of cut to the chase of what people mostly do in this WF anyway. Remove the PvE objectives and plant around a unique-to-scion set of player power-ups. Like the classic FPS games. 4 - 5 runes that give variable benefits. Can be temporary or even full time if you put enough effort into the power-ups and keeping them reasonable, but varied.

edit/ps. Varied, just had to say the word one more time.

Really a great idea. But Trion loves its PVE/PVP hybrids, or as I like to call them "enforced PVE"
