    Default Resist and its affects in PvP is Ridiculous

    The amount of damage reduction resist is providing on live is absolutely ridiculous. I have 474 resist and its providing 49.43 % reduction to all spell damage. This is ridiculous!

    When I was testing on PTS the 474 resist was providing 26.50 % reduction.

    How much resist does 76 hit eat through? About 304 I would guess? How much physical mitigation does the average person have... maybe it's finally fair?

    Don't know if the PvP Godmode bug is part of it.~ Might not be so bad after they patch PvP soon.

    That's about as much as armor typically eats physical damage.

    Yes, so they did make it fair... physical damage has always been this mitigated, and now non-physical will be as well.

    Of course they will probably fix it because you can't have physical damage being useful.

    Resists are intended to work as they work on live right now (1.11).

    The problem is that changes to overall valor based mitigation and healing were made without consideration of the fact that the resistance fixes also going in at the same time. The two changes were like two ships passing in the fog of night.

    From the sounds of it it looks like crank resists up (already done) so that it matches armour reductions of physical damage and then scale back valour some . . . thus reducing all damage equally instead of how it's been since launch with non-physical being crazy good and physical essentially useless.

    Changes to the base mitigation provided by Valor and the amounts for the global healing reduction.

    We are not touching resistance as that is in the correct spot.

    So can we expect valor and healing levels to come down? Things are horrible right now, I just did a whitefall and I'm pretty much unkillable even with the stone debuff on.

    And whereas they would normally collide and then go down in a shower of splinters and flame, with the new mitigation changes they instead endlessly ram into each other in an odd indestructible tableau.
