I may have missed it, but does anyone have a link to the new pvp gear synergy crystal stats? Is it just the sp/vengeance boost or are they making it tie in with the pve synergies?

The only problem I have with Sabo is when they pop rapid setup and all their other CDs and proceed to blow me up in like, two seconds before I can even bring to bear my marksman on them lol.
Agree once you know who it is the guy is squishy as hell, but wow the CDs. Lolol.
Other than that, if his cdsa off, how do you not notice five charges being placed on you, let alone time bombs feet feet DEEEEEEET sound?
Edit: and for the whiners, no, not actually Two seconds....

60Rog/PR64 - Cleared - FT | EE1-button TOTALLY AFK Rogue and Cheerleader for Blitz!
Its 10 seconds total to complete my entire opening rotation. It probably seems like its far far less to people on the recieving end though. Heck I've had it done to my by other sabs. But its no worse than anything else really. Warriors can kill my much faster. Heck so can Chloro/Dom's.

Well, here are my thoughts on 1.8 and sabo.
When 1.8 came, Warriors made being a melee rogue... a horrid experience. :P Lots of rogues decided to try out a ranged spec, but didn't want to do the old MM gig. And... sabo was a new hot thing. My experiences thus far:
* If I pop all my CD's and do a full charge loadup and carpet bombing... I will get someone in full pvp gear down to about 1/2 health, maybe a touch lower.
* If I pop all my CD's and Carpet on someone in pve gear... they go plop!(This feels very rewarding by the way)
* Likewise... if I don't wear nearly complete pvp gear.. I go plop when someone looks at me. (NOTE, I still go plop if a warrior riftwalks and riftstorms me. This is why I take note to try and blow their *** up first and usually focus target warriors so i can keep an eye on them to make their lives hell)
* If I DO wear full pvp gear against another sabo... just like my experiences against other players.. they don't get me below 1/2 health when they "blow their load" so to say.
If anything, the 1.8 Sabo is a good litmus test to find out who, and how many, on the opposing team are wearing PVE gear into pvp. With even half-effort aoe heals, the dps of a sabo on a full pvp geared team is fairly ignorable. If there are under-geared folks, or folks sporting PVE gear... you can't keep them healed though. If anything, Sabos are helping to fix the biggest issue in pvp I would say... pve equipment in warfronts. My 2 cents.
Laban Rogue <That Guild>. Bad... good? I'm the guy with the gun.
yeah that is definately one thing that make sab so strong is the ability to preload CDs and dmg with landmines and traps, landmines need a nerf imo and possibly the stun and the duration on the snare, it seems to me silence was ninja nerfed it never sticks for me, but couldbe back luck. i ran sab all weekend in library, and only about 3 games i had more than 1 or 2 people focusing me, even with just 1-2 people seriously focusing me, it kills my dmg cause i have to switch to defensive playstyle so i can atleast survive a little, and a few games i was marked (i was told i was marked) and i would die everytime i got in range of mages/MMs and warriors would come kill me after a mage CC and i could do nothing about it except pre set landmines and hope to get one round of attacks off.
also it seems when i say cleanse sab stuff, people think that's going to make them immune to dmg and they are saying it's not possible, you don't cleanse to avvoid ALL dmg, you cleanse to either avoid a lot of dmg or to delay the dmg and force them to waste more time setting up.
-_-
You cannot have multiple sabs flinging AOE and CC in fights with more the one warband. The problem is several sabs and not one per se Even in port scions with a few sabs on the other side pvp gets stupid. Horrible, no brainer, AOE flinging garbage Now imagine that compounded several times in conquest with more people.
The devs must nerf rogue sab damage and cc prior to conquest. Landlines need to go. Fix this garbage.
I am telling you. 1.9 is going to backfire on the devs unless they nerf sabs soon.
Amazing dodge.

I am indeed rank 40, and my play experience diverges from yours significantly. Which is part of the reason why my curiosity has been acutely piqued.
I've seen a large number of terrible sabs. I've seen sab damage healed through fairly handily, even in Library. Though that was mostly when a particular healing debuff wasn't available. I would wager that in maps like Whitefall, there's a good amount of the time where a rogue would be better served by going MM. But then again, that's Whitefall, so I have an alternate solution. (Spoiler alert: it's not playing Whitefall.)
If I had something interesting to say, it probably would have been in the post. [9/9 ~ 2/4 ~ 80]
