3 times now. Twice due to how the forums are run, and the 3rd most recently because pvp took nose-dive. I've got a lot of friends who are avid roleplayers tho and they missed me, so I'm back for a lil bit on someone's elses tab. As always the forums are more entertaining than the game and it feels good again to share my little nuggets of insight with the community.

They should do away with stockpile completely. It is a total waste of time and it isn't fun by any means.

The reaction from people when they think they are 'guarding' the turn in see me run in the back...then the stand in the front...then they see my casting bar...pause...and usually are not in time. Clownin.

I could write an essay on how to clown people badly in Stockpile on a rogue. It is so funny. Hilarious seeing a warrior guarding a turn in, and I refuse to fight him but just use my mobility to stay away from him and watch this warrior literally run circles around the tower until he stops to call me a panzy. Then when he stops (in the front, assuming he'll protect the turn in, instead of pursuing me so much) to do this typing he notices me cleansing orbs and misses his chance. Job is done, I just leave him be. Makes people so mad when they defend, you fail to recognize them as a threat, and then foil their defenses. Clown City.

Also gotta laugh at the defiant side turn in. I've seen someone guarding it, so I bust a BD run speed or something and bob/weave out of that 4 way tower like I'm going for the gold medal. After about 10+s sometimes of ridiculous weaving and maneuvers once, i stop for a split second at max range cleansing distance and can sometimes pop it off right before they 'catch up' to where I am. Nothing makes someone more mad than you cleansing orbs not because you killed them while they defended, but because they got straight up juked. Guess I love it cause you rarely get to employ movement for ultimate game changing factor.
I actually laughed out loud at this. Nice work =D We *do* play these games to have fun, some people are just too serious :*(

I like stockpile. It offers large 15v15 battles while also lending itself to smaller 3v3ish skirmishes on the side. It's palatable to all sorts of specs.. utility to help run stones, tanks to defend the orbs, aoe dps to control mid, etc. At the same time, the objective shifts the fighting across the entire map, so you don't have to constantly zerg mid like in vanilla bg (whether people realize this is a whole other issue...). It's possible to manage a comeback with enough effort and communication. So, in this one warfront, you can toy with a wide variety of playstyles within a variety of skirmishes taking place all over the map. That's a pretty well designed warfront, imo.

If it's boring because of unbalanced teams, well, that's not really the map's fault.
