Yeah, people REALLY don't seem to know the rules for this warfront. It's a shame, 'cause it's a pretty good one.

Cool stockpile tips of the week - Defiant side can run up the hill to avoid carrying stones past enemies when the orbs change to their new spots. You can turn in orbs from behind the guardian side turn in.

They should have a mandatory quiz you have to take before you enter warfronts like this:

    1. There is an enemy mage carrying 3 orbs to a station. You
    • a. kill him and collect his orbs
    • b. ignore him... a rogue just hit you and you must make him pay!
    • c. gang up on that one warrior guy

    2. There is an enemy cleric throwing their hands in the air. You
    • a. kill him because he is healing
    • b. kill the warrior because he's being healed
    • c. cry in raid chat why no one is healing you

    3. The enemies are being camped at their spawn. You
    • a. pick up 3 orbs and carry them to a station
    • b. loot corpses
    • c. farm enemies

    4. There are orbs on the ground everywhere. You
    • a. pick up 3 and carry it to the station
    • b. pick up one and carry it to the station. 2 or more slow you down!
    • c. pick up 3 and engage in a losing battle with a warrior

It's not that people know how to play it or don't (least in my case) but sometimes it's whether I care to play it I guess. Heres how it works:

If I load up a MM and do what I typically enjoy, I am far less helpful and the team often loses. If I load up my 51rs and valor I end almost every game with 20 - 30+ orb turn ins, and usually 2 - 3x the amount everyone else turned in individually. I rarely lost a game ever when I loaded up my 51rs from the countdown. I would finish the game with about 27 orb turn ins and literally sometimes ~6 - 8k damage done. But we won by a landslide cause I was pro at turning in those crystals!

^^^ why some people seem like they don't know how to play. The be utmost successful at that map I have to play some goofy spec. The only way I made fun out of this was by tricking people left and right. Never gets old running over the hill and watching someone try to jump up it like I did. And of course I got called a hacker for turning in some orbs. Only way to have fun is to be a borderline hack while sporting a 51rs. Then it turns back into normal BG where my favorite roles win games, instead of my 4th favorites. Meh, sometimes I have fun just RS'ing it up though Insane how long those things can live.

guard the orbs and never fight in the middle, or did i just give away the secrets to winning?

    My favourite post....ever

Here's another more general quiz question.

You are standing in Meridian in a mix of quest blues and dungeon purps. You idly press the k key. Do you?

    1. Decide not to pvp until you've spent a week or so grinding dailies for entry level pvp gear. Maybe even get some gear crafted and augmented with that "valor" that you've heard is so important.
    2. Research support and healing roles on the forums that may help you and your teammates to win the match. After all, yo've read somewhere that at low gear levels it's the best way to help your team.
    or
    3. Jump right in, run round aimlessly then QQ on raid chat about being 1 shotted/dps sucking/heals sucking/pugs sucking/all the p40's on the other team/*insert your personal favourite here* before spitting your dummy out, refusing to play and sitting at spawn pressing the spacebar. Same favor and prestige right? Do it enough and you can be p40 too and then you can show those newbs your leet skillz ;)

You do realize the stupidity is not limited to Stockpile.

In some Library matches the top five people with the most kills will be on our side, but we still manage to lose the match because they are focused more on killing than picking up the thing that actually allows you to win the match.

Or lets talk about the Codex, where your side takes the Codex and then leaves it undefended repeatedly only to lose and have some people think it was a good game.

Or Port Scion when your team is all over seven different sides of the map accomplishing absolutely nothing, but people are still surprised the team is not doing better.
