I am content. I don't expect to have 1 soul build that can solo 1v1 every other single one. That would be unrealistic.

Nb/rs are a pain but are the only rogues that annoy me, the damage the put out is fine, the mobility and defence is absurd.

    #1 Mage on Dayblind.
    You think rogues are OP.

Which of those statements are not true ts? I'm guessing the first since any decent mage has no problems with rogues........

the worlds Rogue and over powered should never be uttered in the same sentence.
i play a rogue and i am happy with the toon....but from what i have seen in WF after WF we are far far far from OP

Personally I would say rogues are a bit op compared to other classes.
i would say melee rogues are the best PVP DPS in the game followed by mages.

The survivability of NB/RS or NB/Inf seems out of hand still (very good dps & cycles of tank like survivability - cycling 2 min CDs adds a lot of survivability especially when combined with RS for HP/Armor/amazing mobility)

Always thought the frontloaded damage of assassin was out of hand, but I think a small side of RS (0 - 16 RS points to pretty much guarantee 5CP & Impale on the opening attack) is what can really make it seem OP against non healing classes that aren't packing 10K health.

I don't think rogues are overpowered in general... but i do think they do consistently too well against mage specs

Why would you think that? Could it be that the raid list goes rogue rogue rogue rogue rogue mage rogue offensive-cleric rogue warrior rogue mage mage rogue rogue?

Disagree, unless they were stealthed at the start. A visible rogue gets blown up by mages, short of NB/RS, but that spec just needs to be purged at key times and they crumble. It's hard to know those key times though, when they're in your face blasting you, but they do go down fast in certain circumstances.

... chlorodom is probably mages best bet- my friend fwosty says it will go even against rogues (nb/rs) at high levels (forcing a stalemate) and he plays both nb and chlorodom so I trust that (kind of a boring playstyle though to be slotted into imo). Other than that mm and nb/rs has the advantage on most other specs (edit: moreso since the sc and devouring shadow nerfs- but really both of these specs were disadvantaged anyways). I think bleeds has said pyrodom goes slightly disadvantaged, although most other pyrodoms think its a straight disadvantage.

What rogue would willing enter a duel without stealthing before hand?
    That's just being unwise.

Furthermore, mages don't have a great purging ability for nb/rs.
t's part of why it gives mages a hard time. We literally lack the tools to out right kill them.

From what iI have seen, chlorodom can bring things to a stalemate, though every other mage spec has a disadvantage.

That cleanse soul is a really, powerful tool that should be used more wisely.

Does purging a NB/RS at key times involve having a dedicated MM spam 5+ seconds of Erradicate followed by additional erradicates every 1 - 2 seconds?......because thats pretty much what it takes to purge a NB/RS (or keep his buffs down to a level where you can have any reasonable chance of pulling off CDs when they pop up & before they expire).
