    Default Solution to Slip Away

When you slip away your target loses everything placed on them such as bleeds etc.
and they are instantly out of combat so they can drink.

that way it will be used for whats it for.

If you're near a cleric, and they don't use it on the rogue who just popped out to kill a healer, then that cleric is bad.

If you're near NOBODY and not a cleric and get jumped by a rogue with Slip Away... whose fault is that, really?

Its on a 2 min CD. It gets one kill. I can get 5 kills with empowered darkness, and it has a 30 second CD. I don't understand why people whine about this skill.

Because Bunzy is a whinny talentless troll who has made it his person mission to manufacture a false outrage over something that is not only working as intended but is acknowledged by every person with a working brain as being balanced correctly.

Why are you looking for a solution to a non existant problem?

Sigh, Bunzy the Troll is in action again. Honestly, Bunzy, I really think that you should go play Hello Kitty Online or Lego Universe. Rift is obviously too hard for you.

What is it used for? Pretty sure any Assassin will tell you that it has both offensive and defensive applications.

    I'll bite...

Couple of problems with the 'solution':

    1) Slip Away as an offensive re-opener to regain the buffs granted by stealth openers would lose a fair bit of its potency if your bleeds fell off as soon as you used it. I haven't been following the raiding scene very much but something tells me that if assassin is in any way a viable raiding soul, this 'solution' would kill it. Regardless, I think it would be swell if people would stop brainstorming "solutions" that take into consideration only one component of Slip Away's utility.

    2) I've been able to sit and drink through rogue bleeds many times. Bleeds or DoTs...doesn't matter. You should be dropping out of combat 5 seconds after the rogue uses Slip Away. Then you drink. Unless, of course, the rogue is forcing you to remain in combat by spamming Expose Weakness on you. In that case, if we were trying to be intelligent about this, would it not make more sense to adjust Expose Weakness so that it doesn't activate or preserve in-combat status on the target?

    Just sayin'.

Its intended to be used defensively.

Who intends to use Slip Away defensively? Obviously the rogues you are trolling about used SA offensively. You might also want clerics not to use their heals to heal themself.
