Default Can pvp gear be good pve gear for a rogue?

    Hi

This may be a stupid question but...

As rogues main stat is dexterity. Would tier 2 (for example) pvp gear be just as good as tier 2 pve gear at pve'ing?

I'm guessing the lack of +hit would be an issue. But runes/accessories/weapons etc might be able to get it up to the required level.

If it has better stats (careful of focus/hit) than the current gear you're using for PvE then yes, its awesome PvE gear but not the best. Hitting 50 with a ton of favor gets you 4 epics with valor, but its better than quest greens/blues anyways.

    i acutally use r5 belt/boots/ring for raiding
its on paar with t1 raiddrops or better.
only T1 token raidgear is better.

if you need hit, skip those items with hit, gloves, rings etc.

yes, i am using shoulders and boots in raids, shoulders, gloves, boots, 2rings in t2s.

The p5/6 pieces are very strong, comparable to t1 raid gear. Once you break the hit cap, swap out any pieces to keep a minimum hit. Things like shoulders, chest, belt and boots don't have hit anyway so you can just use the pvp gear (i would use it all but i have the t3 versions of belt and chest).

Although if you are able to enter raids, i do not recommend buying t1/t2 pvp pieces, you will regret it later.

When I hit 50 I bought a bunch of PvP equipment which is all equivalent to Tier1s . I used Runes to get Focus And then I bought 3 pieces of the crafted equipment (Head, shoulders, Chest). All of which is equivalent to Tier1s. So right at 50 I was running Tier2s and Tier1s with no issue. The drops from Tier1s filled my accessory slots.
