Default Falling damage at spawn point in codex

Most of the time when I leave the spawn point in codex using the newly introduce route I take falling damage. It may be only 1k but it is still >20% of my hp.

That make taking these new route somewhat less desirable.

    Anyone else have this problem?

Nope no problems, and I'm fine with it.

Go down at an angle, kinda like sliding down the wall.

Also, don't actually "jump", that virtually guarantees you take damage.

Dwarfs need a reason to feel useful.

Does that racial work in warfronts? Seeing as how the movement racials don't.

Oh, dont take this out. It's how I pad my healing numbers. End buff, AoE HoT, fall damage.

I remember the WoW BG, where you'd take fall damage at the start half the time. I hated it it I wasn't playing a healer.

and.... I just took 224 damage jumping off the stone bridge in codex.

    What a useless racial.

I agree it's an annoyance. I would rather they auto fill health when buffing endurance personally. Nothing worse than throwing on riftstalker buffs and having half your health gone after lol.

Because that would be a heal and riftstalkers would just switch back and forth for heals.

With lock, which has a buff that will take the average mage from 4.5k health up to the 8k range, it will heal you for half your health(which would be full if you were already full), but that ability specifically says it will heal you.

I found that running off the left most edge of the little cliff stops you from taking damage, just be sure to not get too much air. Also, in general when plummeting off cliffs holding the back button (if you're close to the cliff face) will actually prevent you taking damage when you hit the bottom. It's sort of like skiing in Starsiege Tribes.
