No thanks, and I'll tell you why.

The collision boxes and character movements are in no way realisitic. They are nothing more than boxes and animations.

Instead of it being like people colliding, it's like boxes colliding. For example. Lets say you are some big warrior type and kind of slow. And maybe I'm some quick sneaky type. Well in game, you are this big box I have to go around. But IRL, I can just between your legs, sneak around the side of you in a quick motion and so forth. Even if you take a swing at me, I could take your momentum and use it against you and get away easily etc.

With collision detection in video games these days, it's just a big cylinder/box. Have you ever played Warhammer? It sucked.

It sounds great, but in practice it's horrible and clumsy.

But if collision was added how would all the bad ranged classes repeatedly walk back and forth through melee classes to avoid getting hit?

Yes to collision. Walking through people is rediculous.

I laugh really hard watching this...
That is a damn funny video. Of course, that's a PvP server with a mount that has a knockback ability. But that's also why collision detection is good - it allows people to take advantage of the environment and forces tactical thinking when using abilities.

Anytime there was more than 15 players on the screen at a time, the engine would start failing hardcore. IMO leave it the way it is, computers aren't powerful enough yet.
That's why I don't expect it for open world PvP, but think it should be implemented for Warfronts.
