Blades Of Wrath
Blades of Wrath is a veteran guild with experience in many MMOs and an insatiable drive to be the best. As such, we hold each and every one of our members to the highest of standards. We are currently looking for a few new members. The following are the requirements we use to screen incoming applicants for membership:
1) Must be active. We are not looking for roster sponges to sit afk or offline in our guild. You need to be online fairly frequently and improving your character in all aspects of the game.
2) As of 4/1/11 you must be level 50 to apply. Tanks must have 150 toughness, Casters 180 focus and Melee dps 180 hit. We are currently raiding GSB weekly and the 10 man content so the above standards are the MINIMUM accepted.
3) Must be versitile at more than one build of your class and at following instructions. This includes not getting raids killed because you are yanking it to some pr0n in the background instead of focusing on what we are doing in game. You need to be able to take and follow instructions in order to contribute to this guild. This includes possessing the capacity to move through a zone efficiently and without losing your groups/getting lost/dying randomly somewhere. Maps are your friend.
4) Must be mature. We do expect some degree of restraint when it comes to the trash talking, etc. Drama of any kind will result in an immediate removal from the guild. Blades is an adult-oriented guild and we expect our players to show class in their gameplay.
5) Maintain your cool. You will die repeatedly learning new content. You may not play at all in any given raid event. If you screw up, you can expect to be called out on the spot and told how to fix your error. Our ability to "**** and handle our business" in any of these situations gives us the competitive edge that defines us as a guild. As a member of this guild you need to be able to roll with the punches.
6) Take initiative. We are looking for players who make the extra effort to contribute; whether it's putting a group of guildies together to quest or spending some time pvping or rifting. Researching your class and mastering your various abilities will be critical in this game. Players who put forth the extra effort to maximize their effectiveness in varying roles will *always* receive first consideration for both membership and other in game rewards.
7) Must have access to ventrilo (mic is a plus). This is our main form of communication and plays an important role in our on-field organization. If you can't listen to instructions then you can't help the team.
8) 2+ Years of MMO High-End Raiding experience preferred.
Once your application is posted, you do *not* need to contact us in game and pester us about when we will be making our decision. We will find you (assuming you are online enough for us to do so) when a consensus is reached.

We are currently looking for mages and warriors mainly, if you intend to come as a pair or group exceptions can be made.
