About Raiding
As most of our raiders are from the East Coast, our raid schedule revolves around weeknights during Eastern prime time. We are willing to give anyone an opportunity to prove themselves but dedicated, high-performance players will always receive priority for raid spots.

Did you guys play any other games in the past?
Yes. The guild was originally formed in EverQuest in 1999 on the Fennin Ro server. We have also played EverQuest 2 and Vanguard.

I am interested mostly in PvP. Does that mean I won't be able to raid at all?
No. We will always give people a chance to see content. While we will prioritize higher-performing players for progression, we do try to swap people in and out for farm content based on loot needs.

Do you have an age requirement?
We do not have an age requirement. Our guild's average age is in the early-to-mid 30s.

What kind of language policy do you have?
We encourage people to be themselves but we discourage people from being offensive, insulting, or disparaging toward others. We do not tolerate racism, sexism, or any other form of discrimination.

I was told I need a sheeping wand. Is this true?
No. We allow recruits to become members even if they do not have a sheeping wand, shambler stick, and wand of mechanization. However, they will be unable to defend themselves against our members who enjoy sheeping, shamblering, and robo-ing each other.

I am unable to play every day. Does that mean I won't be able to raid?
No. While attendance does play a role in determining raid spots, our primary determining factors are performance and consistency. For those who are not chosen for the raid for any given day, we do encourage them to follow along via our stream and/or Mumble.

What makes your guild different than others?
For many guilds, the "glue" that holds them together is raid progression. When raiding stops, the guild disbands. For other guilds, raiding is an afterthought and the focus of the guild is to recruit as many people as possible. We are neither of these. While we have a heavy focus in raiding, our primary goal is to maintain a tightly-knit community of like-minded people who put the guild first. Our policies are designed to allow easy entry into raiding without sacrificing the competitiveness of raid spots. We maintain a guild where the guild population is considerable even outside of our raid windows. While we will never insult or single people out for bad raiding performance, we will provide feedback where improvement is necessary. We try to be family-friendly without forbidding common language.

I want to raid. Will I end up sitting on the bench for every raid?
We do our best to balance performance for progression and rotating people for farm content. We do not over-recruit and even in the worst case scenarios, our bench is never more than a single-group deep. This means that our members are more likely to receive raid spots on a purely percentage basis. It also means that when one of our raiders chooses to retire from Rift, we need to immediately recruit to fill that spot.

Do you give away guaranteed raid spots?
Obviously key roles are unique and singular. The players assigned to play these roles will have those spots. Outside of the singular roles, we prioritize raid spots based on a combination of attendance and performance.

Are you looking for dimensioneers?
Yes we are. We try to create themed dimensions for our guild photos and would love to have one or more members for whom this is a full-time interest.

While we have picked up a few returning players in advance of 3.0, we are still looking to expand both our guild and raid rosters in anticipation of Nightmare Tide. We are always happy to work with new and returning players on their builds and rotations. We accept players of all types; full-time and core raiders, part-time players, casuals, pvpers, and dimensioneers are all welcome. One of our officers, Ral, loves puns. On an unrelated note, it does seem like the entire Rift community is hibernating in advance of Nightmare Tide. Tempest Bay often has fewer people in it during prime times than it did after midnight merely a month ago. To combat the overall malaise, our guild is spending more time chatting about random stuff in Mumble.

If you are one of those people who has recently come back to Rift or if your guild is busy playing other games until Nightmare Tide, TKagi Ro may be a good fit for you. Our leadership is not interested in dividing time between games. Our guild will never be a multi-game guild that sees members migrate from Game A to Game B to Game C. We are about community and having fun.
