Is there a problem with /dance and /point not working sometimes?

Sometimes random ppl seem to get damage even tho they are performing the emotes as needed.

I think you need to be standing still for it to work (not jumping or in the air from tornado). People could also be either too late or too early. The best way to check whats going on is making karuul alerts for both (buff names: the point protection, protection of dance) and see if you actually get the protection buff up, if not press macro again.

You have to actually perform the dance and point animation. This means that you cannot have any transform effects, cannot be casting, and cannot be channeling.

You should try to aim to /dance or /point after an instant cast during the GCD.

If you're too quick it won't work. As said already, you can't be casting or moving either.
Better to just spam your macro until your keyboard dies if you don't have the karuul alert for the protection buff.

Yeah. It is just if you're moving it doesn't work. That also means if you get knocked up by a tornado for whatever reason it doesn't work until you land and are stationary again. Also, if you pressed the wrong one first then it won't work

Yup, you cannot gain The Point Protection while under the effect of Protection of Dance and vice versa.

Just make it so when you fail point and dance you take like 10k damage or something.

I don't think transforms matter, at least my zerker never mattered, worked perfectly fine while I was in ice zerker mode
