    Default Dreknoth of Fate - Chains of Fate bug

    Currently there's a bug with the chains of fate where the pulsing blue circle do not disappear after all three players have come together, even though the effect does. This also happens occasionally when one of the players with the chains dies.

    The mechanic also seems a bit buggy at times doing 2,3 sometimes 4 instant ticks on a single person even when no one is in the way of those with the chains. We had horrible server lag the two nights before we killed him, so that could be the attribute but it's extremely frustrating.

    Yup. We determined early on that it was better to look at raid frames than rely on the blue VFX as an indicator.

    Ultane, Magcillian and now DoF all with a similar mechanic and all started out with problems.

    Its also fun when only one chain solves and you have to wipe because it stays on 2 other people.

    Nope, Sharax will definitely be bug free . I put in a change for next week's patch that should make it so people don't get stuck with chains on them.

    So we have this keep happening on and off on our 10-man raids. As far as the almost-instantaneous 3 ticks of chain damage, I believe I may be seeing what's happening on those. The tether debuff applies to each person at offset times, almost .1 sec each person. If you are even stacked and this happens, there is still a lot of damage that goes out because the tether can not solve right away. I've gone down in less than a second, 90k damage in less than a second, because of this occurring too often.

    We thought at first it was a problem of people not getting in too quick or a person being run over and not getting out of the three coming in, but to my eyes it seems on those few wonky tethers of the debuff not being put on all three right at the same time. It may be a desync issue with the servers; hard to say. My two cents on this bug that will kill 1-2 people when it happens, or a tank if another mechanic is happening.

    Speaking of chains, shouldn't there be at least 1 second delay before chain can do damage to someone? I was one shotted by bad rng chain yesterday as a tank from full hp (I got hit by the boss at the same time). Generally all deaths we have on that boss are caused by quite bad rng when chains spawn close to each other. This often kills 1-2 people who stand in melee. Is this avoidable or it is just bad rng killing people?
