    yeah its this thread again. 3 on each side is too much with our new shinies.

    Volan's arms are the heart and soul of the encounter, and thus cannot be nerfed further. Sorry!

    One of the best posts yet.

    I'd like to see two per arm plate or even one per arm plate. It's such an easy mechanic and already has a punishment for failure on a player basis (them dying without a healing CD, for instance).

    Reduce Volans HP and remove 2 of the platforms while you're at it.

    That would be discrimination, remove them all to be fair and just scrap P2 with it.

    since we're already this far how about when you click the device to spawn him it just spawns a chest instead.

    Yeah its kinda annoying. The time it shows on the leaderboard for our kill this week is 7:17. My dps meter stopped at 6:46 so thats 30 seconds difference. We also spend about 30 seconds waiting for the last cell in p1 which made us get a 2nd extinction aswell.

    I would like the whole arm mechanic to get some kind of rework. Something like making the arms targettable, giving them 21m hp and making them take 7m damage from a reflected orb. I guess it is unlikely that will happen though and we will either be stuck with the current version or it gets reduced to 2 orbs per side and eventually this thread pops up again.

    Leave Volan alone! Hasn't he suffered enough? He's imprisoned for centuries, only to enjoy a brief moment of freedom, before we kill him... and now you want to NERF HIS ARMS? How dare you!! LOL

    Oh, you mean the Volan in the dungeon... yea never mind then. LOL

    Here's an idea... instead of requiring 3 Orb hits per arm, how about this:

    - Add 12 million health to each Leg.
    - Make it so reflecting an Orb by performing the mechanic properly does 4 million damage to the Leg on that side (ignore the Corrosion debuff and just make it a flat 4 mil).
    - Have the second phase start when both Legs are destroyed. The Arms do nothing.

    That way you'd still have to perform the mechanics properly to get the quickest kill (or beat the enrage if low on DPS), but raids with a ton of DPS wouldn't have to wait around in Phase 1.
