    Default Twins

Does anyone have a link to the twins strategy where they are stacked?

On this same note, anyone that has done both strategies, which would you recommend for progression?

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Thank you,

Are you asking about stacking with 2 tanks or stacking and still using 4 tanks. They are both the same just 4 tanking is substantially easier.

We stack it in our main raid for farm. We split them on alt/pug runs with weaker gear levels.

Stacking requires all of the raid to stack very tightly other than some out people who will get the yellow AOE dropped on them. We still 4 tank when stacking because we are lazy when it comes to farm nights. The strat is the same as when you split the raids to each side of the room other than it puts more pressure on the healers and your raid has to know where to hide correctly each time.

Progression it will be easiest to stay with 4 tanks and splitting the raids on each side of the room.

Riftscene has a decent strat: http://www.riftscene.com/guides/raid...veli-strategy/

We have also done both methods and I have to say the stacking was easiest for progression. Pulled apart there was a major emphasis on not getting too far apart, but together everyone is AOE so easier to maintain a steady DPS on both targets. The fight also goes much much faster imo.

Big thing to note if you are trying the stacking method is the tight stack and NO ONE in the stack can drop cores, spawn pets etc. or a yellow bubble can spawn on them.

For progression, use 4 tanks and split raid.

    Main methods:
    4 tanks/Split raid (Progression recommended)
Advantage: Most room for movement, lowest tank damage.
Disadvantage: Lowest DPS (DPS check is very very low though).

    2 tanks/Stacked bosses
    Advantage: Huge DPS gain
Disadvantage: High tank damage, less room for raid to move, AoEs are more clustered.

    Alternate variants:
2 tanks/Split raid -- Same as positioning as with 4 tanks, but run to each other to swap.
Advantage: Large DPS gain, Raid has still movement room. Only a minor increase in tank damage.
Disadvantage: Tanking difficulty is significantly increased. Only recommended if you have 2 excellent tanks who can perfectly time and execute swaps while running.

    4 tanks/Stacked bosses
Advantage: Moderate DPS gain. Same tanking difficulty as 4 tanks/Split.
Disadvantage: Raid is clumped up for AoEs. High tank damage.
