    Default General Typhiria - Tempest of Agony

    Last boss of 10 man General Typhiria, Tempest of Agony hitting all characters for 15k+, normal?

    All guides i have seen state 6k-ish

    Isn't that quite normal during her channels in phase 1?

    15k wouldn't be normal.

    By chance have a screenshot of this happening? I'm a bit skeptical.

    Im pretty sure its a flat %age of your max hp. (65%?)

    Ergo ~11-12k on me (around 19k hp in 10mans.

    I saw a couple high ticks last night, but nothing our healers can't heal through.

    guides are inaccurate. it's about a 10k hit per tick.

    Dont think it hits me that hard as a tank with 53k ... healers would have a hard time.

    Yeah, it's just a flat amount that gets reduced depending on how high your resists are.
    We used to have 2 wardens for this, but you could use any other AOE heal setup as well...

    As an example from my last run through in there:

    Cleric Tank  5,878
    Still, pretty manageable in general. Really, the only danger zone from it - and most of the fight - is if the healers don't remember that she for serious does her AoE right after the runaround phase. (C'mon guys, you're killing me here. Almost literally.)

    Storm of Torment on the other hand, will tick for 18-19k and make you have a bad time.

    On a (slightly) different note, has anyone noticed the 4th boss's box-shaped death mechanic isn't working right? Seems the initial burst isn't/doesn't seem to be located in the actual graphic representation of the box.

    (Least that's all I can figure for why folks are getting one-shot when stacked up and out of the box area).

    .....Or am I missing something else?

    Yeah, it seems that the yellow/green box is first set on the ground then the boss targets someone and if this person is a bit ahead of the group, his mecanic hits the group behind ... At least that's my feeling about it.

    This mechanic misbehaves if you have any objects on the ground that aren't a part of your raid (mailbox, feast, medic, etc). She'll attempt to murder those inanimate objects and the box graphic gets all wonky.

    Yes everyone has seen this. Keep the entire group moving together through that entire phase.
