Here you go. There's actually a fairly even drop of Epic items for all classes.

    Amazing. Thought they didn't exist.

Since I don't even need expert marks anymore and have yet to see a mage epic O.o

I've seen so many of Ahzrius’ Devlish Scalpel's drop, you would cry.

They exist, I just feel like the end bosses should have less of a chance of dropping blue items.

That's unfortunate. I know I had to run the same dungeon a week straight just to get my tanking mace. The drop rate on Epics seems to be low. Couple that with that each boss drops multiple pieces of gear and you just have to roll the dice and hope to come up with a winning roll.

I've always had the luck of if you need an item it never drops and if it doesn't drop it drops every time

I think my mage had BiS expert drops within a week and a half of me hitting 60. Just rng.

The worst part of the horrible drop rate is... Getting that epic drop you have been trying for, for 3 and half weeks of horrible pugs to finally drop... Only to have it ninjaed by someone who is queued as a role that doesn't have a use for it...

Yeah happened to me recently, I'm still pissed off and almost ready to quit.

When you factor in tanking gear, there are 7 "types" of gear (2 types for every class except mage), and every class can use 2 of those types, while mages can only use one type.

I'm curious if mage gear is designed to drop 14% of the time (1 in 7) or closer to 25%, so they either up the drop rate of individual pieces or provide more choices.

indeed. I have yet to see any mage epic drop.

    Today it was

    Unhallowed Boneforge-Rogue tanking gun

    Unhallowed Boneforge-Cleric Staff

    Empyrean Core-Cleric tanking boots

    I hate my luck

We have a saying in our guild. Bloody Clluthu! [one of our clerics].

Every other drop is cleric, and we blame him. Its definitely his fault. He's bribed the devs I think.

If you come across him in a pug and cleric loot drops, don;t forget, "Bloody Clluthu!".

I've been running experts since week 1, and I'm still far away from not needing marks.

We try to bring one of every class to an instance run.
We've found that usually, the class that we don't bring into an instance becomes the class whose loot drops the most.

i.e., we've had 2 or 3 runs of TDQ where we didn't have a rogue around. Guess what dropped? All rogue loot.
Same with experts. When there's no rogues, we tend to get rogue loot. When it's 4/5 clerics and a mage, we tend to get warrior/rogue loot. When it's 5/5 clerics we tend to get mage loot. When there's no mages, we get mage loot. When there's no warriors, we get warrior loot.

Of course it's probably purely rng.
