Default Triumph of the thingie - Raid Tier 1

    Hello,
I want to know if i'm ready.

I'm a warrior 54 Paladin and rest VK.

    I have touphness 400 + 400+ hit without anyrunes.

The only items i'm missing from the expert tier is a gun and a shield. All other are expert tier gear or better (crafted).

Yesterday i got into the raid to test the damage i get. Trash were hitting me mostly for 5k each, and some dragon thingie was hitting for 23k !!!

Is that normal ? I guess on wednesday with the fix for warriors, i'll have some more mitigation, but is it the normal damage i should get? So healers should be able to outheal this ?

    Thanks for your suggestions.
    Simos.

We did that instance the first time with a warrior that was decked out in a mix of leather, chain and plate to reach the 400 toughness and a second warrior tank that didn't even have the toughness (~350). So yes healers are supposed to outheal this easily.

One MT healer can handle the damage in the instance. HPS is kind of a useless number in most circumstances so I don't have an exact number for you.

You owe your healers an entire NIGHT of drinks.

as a chloro that isn't raid ready (still on the expert farm and getting better essences) I have pulled anywhere from 6-7K HPS single target. It's doable. with support or shields or other supportive CDs or even another healer which I'd imagine you'd have in a raid, 23k hp loss in one blow is not that bad I dont think. A simbiosis plus entropic running I should have the tank back to full health in just a couple seconds by myself.
