    Default Trion please lower the HP on the magus on the zilas fight

    That or either please increase the amount of time in which they spawn. After the first 2 magus's they start to spawn like 5 seconds after you kill one, its ridonkulous.

    Kill them faster and you get more time DPSing the boss. Lowering the HP would just be a big nerf to an already easy boss.

    See thats the problem with you guys who have HK on farm you know the whole 3% of you, why would you have to view that as a nerf?? it would be more of a convenience

    It's more the fact that the fight is very easy as is.

    If you can beat Murdantix to even get to Zilas then you absolutely have everything you need, all that is missing is execution, and nerfing the mobs wont fix that problem.

    All you need is 8 dps to do ~1.4k dps per person to kill it within 15 seconds. That's assuming you can get one stun off. Not really asking the world, considering that's about the same dps needed to kill Plutonus in RoS....

    The Magi have already been nerfed once, they're such a faceroll by comparison now it's not even funny.

    It helps to have more coordination and assignments if you're struggling on the Magus. Ensure that you have your DPS go to the mage after you have a Rogue MM stun the crystal. Keep a few on the boss for ST/AOE on the adds. You should have no problem getting the Magus down before you become inundated with them.

    If you're struggling with them dying, then what is the problem? Are you not calling them out? Do you not have someone assigned to either side to use the crystal to stun the Magus? Are you only have a couple DPS leave? Between communication, leadership w/ DPS roles.. you should have no problem getting Magus down.

    Just did a pick up HK this weekend with 25k raid dps. Zilas was still a joke... You can double stun Magus and range dps should have 0 issues killing them on the platforms. Improve your execution or up your raid dps to a viable point. Nerfing down the health on any of the mobs isn't required.

    If anything, that laser beam needs to change colors based on his percent!

    The zilas fight if you ask me is fine right where it is. It's tuned for a somewhat entry level HK guild to HK in the first place. The only issue with anything on the fight is boss strategy that your guild might use.

    As of right now even people in expert gear can do Zilas, just because of the expert gear changed to ABOVE t1 raid gear. It's not an issue of Zilas having too much HP. Just have 2 dps on each side and have 2 other dps roam around while the rest goes aoe spamming on top of the boss to kill adds, problem solved.

    A common problem is ranged DPS fail tabbing to get the magus and blowing the crystal early so that the magus cannot be stunned.

    Ensure all ranged DPS use a hotkey to target them - /target escaped magus.

    Designate 1/2 players to use the crystals, stun them properly and you can stun them twice.

    Its worth numbering the crystals for clarity and getting the designated stunner/s to make macros for cast @mark# <spell name> to fire the stuns even while running round the lazer etc.

    Hope this helps, as others have said the encounter was already nurfed no need to nurf it again!

    OP, the guild I'm in is 5/11 HK. We were headbashing Zilas for a good 2 months (partly due to core raiders leaving for other games, Xmas break holidays/etc). The Magus were a real problem for us too, but we kept trying our best, improving efficiency, getting more gear/etc.

    We decided to just throw everyone except AoErs and the one person doing the crystals on his/her side to run towards and dps down each magus - because our dps was low.
    It worked.

    If another Magus is coming in 5 seconds after you down one, try to get better stuns, and perhaps pull more people to the Magus.

    Worst idea ever!

    I was in HK with a group of first timers yesterday...we dont have gear above GSB and below. Some of us, including me, went with craftables and mark gear. We killed Murdanix on our second try, and hit the wall on Zilas.

    We got him on our fifth try or so...and the HP of the Maguses was NOT the problem...execution was (us being casual). The Maguses are fine, and nerfing an allready easy encounter is NOT a road Trion should follow more than they allready have imo.
