    Default LFG Queueing Times

How long should I expect to wait in the LFG queue for low level dungeons as a DPS?

I'm new to the game, and was waiting for over an hour last night before finally giving up. Is this normal? It's pretty annoying as I can't join public groups for rifts/invasions while in the LFG queue.

Tank and Healer is usually 1/2 hour.
I don't bother queueing as dps since I will get no pop.

Low level and DPS are the two things that take longest on the queue.

You probably shouldn't expect to get groups at all.

<50 Dungeons: all waits are 45 mins and up

    T1/T2 Dungeons:
    Tanks: 5 secs
    Healers: 10 mins
    Support/DPS: >1 hour

Ouch. Moral of the story then is to find a good guild!

It all depends on your battlegroup. I've had no trouble queueing as tank/healer since my first RotF run on my cleric.

DPS/Support queues, however, are going to be a while.

5 secs is an overstatement... can breathe at the lfg as a tank and it pops.

Yes as I was writing that I contemplated changing it into 1 sec, but decided to keep it at 5 secs for a slow server

Pick up a second role and spec support. Most new players either can't afford, or just don't buy a second role, and since most people will be using a DPS spec to level, there's a massive shortage of support at low levels. It's still a long, long way from instant, but it's much better than the queue times for DPS.

Hell, most of the time you don't even need a support in low-level dungeons, so as long as you make a spec that'll let you cheese your way into the LFG tool, you can probably get away with going DPS anyway.
