They are extremely easy to dodge, and yes you can dispel them. Be the one good cleric and use your AoE dispel and business as usual.

What this guy said. After the first couple times we downed this boss, no one in my guild almost ever gets hit by them. It's very easy to dodge them, even for melee.

It is dispellable, but you shouldn't.

Make the baddies learn or don't bring them.

After learning to dodge them you can always abuse residual absorb in the void knight tree as tank, yey for lazy mode

But yeah it's a curse so totally dispellable

The blind is only a minor inconvenience at best, except during the devastating bomb phase. So you just time it such that they never occur together, then feel free to get hit by as many blinds as possible.

That said they are extremely easy to dodge. See the orbs? Don't look at them.

    why dispell them?

it's one of the best ways to identify weak aspects of your raid composition. This fight is at first a dps check, but at it's core it is a compitency check.

players that can't follow instructions, have low end comps, or are just lazy will hold you back. Noticing who's always blinded, or who can never move to avoid bombs makes it easy to indentify those who need to be replaced.

Have a senticar with your melees (that should all be packed) and he'll handle AoE decurse.
Cleric healers should NEVER take the bomb (they can heal without LoS), but the rest of the raid might occasiionaly take a bomb.
If you're asking this, i believe you're having trouble fighting him.
My advice is to do a few tries without parsers and try to have everyone focus on their survival.
This is not a DPS race, except for the bomb phase. Even the last phase, it's just a survival game : people shouldnt be taking bombs (both blinding and bumping.) but it'll happen again and again, just push everyone to be extra carefull

They're easy to dodge. You have a window, albeit small, where you can rotate your camera and scan the entire area when the emote comes up to see where the orbs are, and turn your back accordingly.

Devastating Bombs start at every 25%. If you hadn't been Blinding Bombed in a while, stop DPS at 77%, 57%, 27% and wait for a Blinding Bomb phase. Wait it out. Then burn him and the bomb without having to worry about it.

It's a really easy fight. Just need 20 people who have the ability to uhh....see.

Just wipe on it some more. Everyone will get the hang of it.

If you want to have a bigger stupid buffer, have a Chloro/Archon be one of the heal roles and a Warlord tank it. Spotter's Order can offset a few people being blinded on bomb phase. Flaring Power and Assault Command can be used to offset more carelessness. Johlen doesn't hit particularly hard so you don't need a max mitigation spec.

Also, have all of the range DPSers/Healers be closer to the center. So if they do unfortunately eat a blind, they won't walk off past the pillars and get wrecked by the orbs.

the holding DPS till a blinding has been tossed method does not seem to work anymore. the last two weeks when we try this (mainly for the 3rd dev.bomb) he will not drop the bomb at 26% as he sould he will wait till lower percent untill he has just tossed another blinding bomb so that you need to dodge the 2 blindings that are up and dps the bomb. this can be a pain depending on how they are placed as they can end in such places that you can no dps the dev bomb with them up w/o avoiding them (most of the time you can, but if they are in a direct line on each side of the bomb you can not avoid both and be hitting the dev.bomb)

I personally feel that this sould not be able to happen, you sould be able to hold dps at 28%, wait for the blinding then hit him down to 26 for dev bomb to ensure you do not take the bomb, otherwise its too much randomness than skill in if you can take him down 1st try consistently (atleast till most ppl are T3 geared and then the dps race is not an issue if you got blinded or turned your back till blindings gone then killed bomb)

First of all....most important "should". Secondly, it does work, we did it last night. His blindings aren't on a hard timer, it appears to be random so sometimes youll be waiting a while, but it is on a timer rather than % based.
