    Default Votekick in dungeons?

What are the preconditions necessary to use this feature?

OMG.. Here we go.. WoW 2.0.. With each patch I see more BS being brought into the game.. More drama coming with that feature.. It will hit the forums soon after..

I see this going awry quickly with it being single server. Three people from one high end guild queue up together, end up with a member from a competetor guild, and votekick the person to stunt their progression.

Also, making this statement before it's thrown back at me, I'm sure most endgame guilds should be pulling upgrades from raids, but I'm talking about getting other members raid ready.

That's extremely far fetched... if guilds are really that competitive, they won't be pugging a spot.

without that "feature" the group leader could just arbitrarily kick someone, no? how is this a worse situation?

Umm I dont' think the leader has that option in a LFD queue system.. do they? I don't see this LFD thing working as intended anyways..

At least its vote kick, and not auto kick. I would love a feature that auto kicked someone for failing at mechanics more than once, and already had someone lined up to replace them. That would be so much win.

I've never played a game that's had this option, so I've no idea about the ramifications of it, however, I would think that if they are going to have auto-group building, then a vote-kick tool is a must.

"Vote kick" implies needing a majority, i.e 3/5, for the person to be kicked. It's a needed system if you're in pug groups because otherwise people will be free to grief during dungeons (like ninja-logging after pulling an entire room).

There is no reason to have this LFD system put into place other than a practice run for cross server LFD. I mean every night I log in:

/4 LFM RD 38+ PST, Need Tank and Dps OR Heals

I mean how hard is that?

Good luck getting responses on smaller servers. I spam that regularly and hardly get ANY responses if anyone's talking at all.

Edit: The LFG will encourage people to stay logged in longer since they won't get bored sitting in the city spamming...at least you can craft/farm/explore while queued.
