    Default PvP in PvE gear?

    my brother is convinced that you can do epic dungeons in PvP gear and be just as effective and i disagree. we havent done an epic dungeon yet but we are getting ready to.. he is being super cocky about this any input would be appreciated ty

    You should be fine in all rank 2-4 gear, just be prepared to miss alot

    All you need is hit rating and most of that comes from jewellry and weapons.

    But you will take a significant damage loss if you are a DPS spec. PVP gear is mostly based on survivability whereas PVE gear is based on max DPS.

    Next patch they are increasing the stats on pvp gear and some of the pieces might be better than the pve gear you have for dps. Pvp gear does put a lot of the weight into end and valor, but if they don't over do those two they can be very good pve pieces too. The new rank 6 weapons will be much better than the t1 epic staff I have currently.

    Unfortunately that has been MMO standard operating procedure since EQ.
