Default T1 T2 T? What does this mean.

Sorry for being noobish but what is a T1/2 dungeon and how geared do you have to be for this. Please can someone break it down for me and what kind of gear is needed for these (ex. all blue45+ or all purp 50+)

Tier 1 - Easy expert dungeons

Tier 2 - Tougher expert dungeons

There is a list of these in the Dungeons forum section

    Gear needed:

    +hit/focus/toughness 50 for t1

    +hit/focus/toughness 100 for t2

How do you actually change the difficulty? The list that is sticky'd is just the normal dungeons throughout the zone that I have been doing as I leveled. glad I found this post because I have been wondering what the heck everyone is talking about when they say T1/T2

    My N00Bness is showing.

Right click your character frame in-game, under dungeon difficulty > set it to expert. Tada!

only works at 50...so he wont actually be able to mess with the difficulty prior to 50 and may have missed it.

but yeah, t1s are the "easy" experts(they vary within this category, some have much harder bosses and stuff, but boss/trash hp is pretty standard throughout, drops are around the same level of item, and 1 plaque per boss, 10 per daily)

t2 are the harder ones(again, they vary a bit), mobs have more hp than in t1s(basic mob hp is like 35k in t2, 23k in t1), most bosses are mechanically more challenging (on top of hitting harder), and loot is at a higher level(2/20 on plaques)

t3 is basically raid gear, greenscale/river of souls

if you visit the relic vendors, there are three levels of gear on them, those match the tiers of difficulty, though nothing prevents you from farming a t1 to buy the t2 level loot from the vendor(t3 is locked by a special token)

..I am 50 and had no idea about this. Thanks for sharing it.

I have done an expert before, but someone else zoned in first.
