When the Shamblers die, there is no purple puddle to walk Duke through. All night now, more than once, at least once a fight one bugs out.
We just killed DL a few minutes ago.. Sometimes the purple goo doesn't appear but it will still provide the slow effect. Have you at least tried walking the duke over the spot where the shambler's body is?

He is correct. Sometimes there just isn't a pool, and it isn't purely cosmetic. Kiting him through the area gives no slow to him. Solution: Kill the next shambler fast.

Without delving too deeply into the details, the way the effect is currently authored it shouldn't be possible for the shambler to actually die without the slime effect being spawned. So either the fix didn't actually make it to the live servers (unlikely), the effect is lasting only an instant (also unlikely), or something else unknown is happening.
Either way we'll be investigating and hopefully get a fix for you as soon as we can.

Your post on the fix for the shamblers conferred no real information. But your unnecessary snark has gotten through.
Seriously, often the content devs are not the bug fixing devs - there are always more devs able to create content (bugs) then there are to fix bugs in a game.

Ok was mid-raid when I posted this, here is what happened:
1. DPS Duke down
2. Shamblers were AoE'd down to a pube of health
3. When Duke enraged, he was kited to the first purple goo on the ground left behind the first dead shambler
4. The second shambler was DPS'd down, and killed. Normally in our run, it was the second shambler that bugged out. We even kited him through the same spot in which it died, and the slow effect did not take place.
5. Usually the third shambler we killed would drop his purple goo.
(We killed Duke regardless of this silly little bug.)

Downed him a couple hours ago, no issue with goo.

This didn't just happen once. It happened every pull for about 45 minutes.

hey Zor, I saw the event bug once for us tonght, basically we killed the shambler, the ooze dropped, but no snare as duke ran through it. as far as i can tell there wasn't anything weird going on. the ooze that didn't snare him was the 2nd ooze we had dropped to snare him and it was probably 10 or 15 meters away from the first ooze that did successfully snare him. it shouldn't have been a timing thing, the 2nd ooze was popped a few seconds after the first and both oozes still were showing up on the ground as he ran through the 2nd one.

Same thing happened to us last night, we still killed him first try with no major problems, but they are definately still bugged in the way that the goo appeared but didn't apply the slow to Duke.
