    Default Konstantin Post 1.1 Patch

As the patch notes mention this boss's Mathosian Fury ability now does more damage than before. Its hitting our mostly t2 geared tank for about 5k a pop and the spikes in the room make it very difficult to kite this phase. Interrupting this spell doesn't work... I'm eager to find out if anyone has discovered the trick to this.

EDIT: Nevermind figured it out. The spike pattern somewhat changes when he does his Fury ability. Just have to use the outside ring of spikes to kite.

A buff goes on him when he enrages, it needs to be removed. The trouble is the only purge we found that works is the Necro.

Really a major change, we're currently wiping on him. I was expecting it to be a small change. Gonna try the necro trick now...

What I found weird was that even if I moved him around, he still hit me. Hard.
I like this boss, no really I do, dancing is easy once you get it down but the cleave + spikes + high damage? Yeah, no.

    Maybe I gotta L2P more.

Yeah, necro dispel worked wonders, went down on first try after that.

Well we got information about purge from guild mates - I had to go spec into necro for the first time. Made life so much easier on boss - after lots of wipes on this boss. Had a clean run to him (manticores were nice to us). My roles keep changing every time we dungeon run it appears......

Tanked it as Riftstalker in mostly blue crafted, with around 10k HP. Didn't dispell his fury buff though.

Konstantine is moving slowly when using Mathosian Fury, and as a Riftstalker there's no excuse to not just blink away from him for the duration of the fight. Gotta not-suck at avoiding spikes though.

They upped his regular non-crit damage though.

You think dispellable fury is intended or not?

Hopefully a bug, cause the fight is gimp without the danger of fury.

They have a bad track record with making boss mechanics dispellable don't they. Well as long as he doesn't move too fast and you can kite him around the outside edge it shouldn't be a huge hassle, and more movement will make the fight more interesting too.

Spikes no longer seem to stop during Fury stage however (and go a bit random apparently - afraid I was pyro specced so didn't notice) - so moving boss around without dispel is painful as a warrior tank. We tried umpteen times and it just didn't work till we had the dispel. Tank was taking 5.5k hits pretty soon into Fury stage.
