    Default Do you like Bards?

As a whole, I'm trying to gauge the viability of my main character.

I love my Bard, and I can see my abilities going to great use in a dungeon and a raid. However, I'm mostly concerned with how visible and viable I am to a group.

I'm clearly a support character, but I do not bring to the table big heals, but rather I bring buffs, and plenty of them. I'm great at handling splash and trash damage, as well as providing some useful mez abilities.

I don't bring damage to the table at all, in fact my damage can best be described as paltry, because I focus on my support skills.

What do you guys think of the pure support Bard?

I love them, and mainhealers love you even more.
Virtuoso also is great for massive (incoming) damage.

And in warfronts you can really turn the tide.

I love them as well, especially ones that keep the buffs up all the time. Not to mention nifty backup heals.

My bard buddy also just got the 10% cost reduction for abilities - it's pretty hot and I noticed a huge difference in mana leftover from healing.

21 Point Bards with Coda of Restoration as a support healer make instances easy street.

If the extra healing isn't needed, you can just switch to DPS mode (even better if playing a Power Bard).

Best Rogue class in an instance from my point of view (the tanking POV).
