    Default Greywood poles - is it just me?

    I just rushed to the store to buy the new greywood and wood beam poles.

    I found the wood beam pole to be much nicer looking than I had expected, but the greywood pole was a bit disappointing.

    The grain is horizontal, and not vertical as on the wood beam pole, and I find this to look quite odd.

    Yea I was also surprised by the horizontal grain on greywood poles and vertical on wood beam, since it's the wood beam poles where the texture blending is more problematic in vertical alignment I'd say (still looks quite okay though).

    So the question is, was this intentional, and if so, why?
    When you look at the rectangles, you'd also assume the wood beam should be the only one using horizontal grain...

    These have been fixed to run the right way and will be corrected in an upcoming update.

    Sorry that I have to necro this thread, all seemed to be fine after 3.7 with planks and poles being as expected, until I noticed that something wasn't quite right with my tree house...then I realized it, woodbeam rectangles had their texture rotated 90.

    Now I did mention above that this building block wasn't inline with others regarding texture orientation, but I thought we agreed to stay away from retroactive changes for items that have been around for a long time like this one (well those attached terrain paints were an exception, due to the scaling and the alternatives we have).

    Also, this is still an inconsistent change because now the squares need to be rotated 90 first to match the texture direction, so either change both or none.
    I'm really not sure how to fix my building now...

    I hate to stir the pot here (especially after I just fixed mine,) but I just wanted to add that the Wood Beam cube texture definitely swapped orientation at the same time that Lynx3d experienced the rectangles having swapped.

    Okay I've read it at least 5 times, I don't get what "it" you're refering to

    And I didn't even notice the wood beam cube change, haven't any in use myself currently. So why did those get changed, but square and (I think) triangle not then?

    Yeah i meant to say that i wished there was also wood corner post equivalent of those new shades.
