    Default Dear Devs - Dragon motes have dimmed

    I hope someone official can tell me if dragon motes being much dimmer than they once were when shrunken to .25 size was intentional or if it is a bug. I was using them as light sources in my dimension, but they no longer glow enough for that to be believable.

    Should I rethink my strategy or patiently wait for the bug to be fixed?

    Here's a comparison, using Water Motes:

    Before (Vengeful Sky):

    Dear Devs - Dragon motes have dimmed-2013-04-28_145446.jpg

    After (Polyp Promenade):

    Dear Devs - Dragon motes have dimmed-2016-05-10_202826.jpg

    Both of these are with multicore off. Turning multicore on produced no change.

    Here's another comparison:

    Before

    Hopefully that shows just how dim the dimming is. Also, no multicore was involved in these shots.

    It is not just the dimension motes, I had noticed that the eggs you need to set fire to in one of the Intrepid IA (HK) rounds are a lot less bright as well.

    Those eggs use the same model as a Death dragon mote, so it makes sense that they would be affected.

    Default I'm not alone with the dragon mote scandal!

    I'm hoping the dragon motes will return to "glowing" when shrunk. They make the best light bulbs. Thank you Blythe for finding such great comparison images! I only have a before image. Using dragon motes as light bulbs.
