Default (Faeblight US) The Infero Conduit: Grand Re-Opening!

I've been away from Rift for a while due to a few new kids and a brand new job cropping up over the past few years. I've come back to a wondrous assortment of new items, and have updated my dimension to boot.

Welcome to the Inferno Conduit. The original building was the center of study for the Di Caprici family before the war of the dragons. They were famed as gifted fire shamans, and followed a long lineage as they eventually delved into planar pyromancy. In time, most of the family fell in the long and destabilizing wars, leaving the youngest surviving son and the only one to choose to study outside the mono-planar circle.

The building has grown old and forgotten, but don't be deceived by the aesthetics. The building still holds one of the most impressive libraries on the Plane of Fire, and countless experiments in planar magic. Gas fueled study stations are scattered through the complex, as well as a massive planar foci stretching from the bottom to top floor and through the ruined roof. It's true that some of the magitech is on the fritz, but most of it shouldn't shock you on contact.

Upstairs is still the traditional sparring chamber in the spirit of Maelforge and his minions. However, with the infiltration of the plane of water and the acquirement of a new artifact, a steam works has been built to power many of the machines within....

.this experimentation has lead to the heavy investment of a new facility outside to study the melding of fire and water into a clash of steam. Interested volunteers can choose sides in the sparring chamber to be transported into the small arena. Fight in the center as the two elements evolve into spouts of steam and ash. Just made sure not to delve too deeply into enemy territory, less your attunement weaken you to certain death. For those interested in watching the interaction, a spectator area has been fashioned above, which can be found left of the building past the sparring dummies available for public use.

Feel free to forward any comments, complaints and questions to Vordexus and thank you for your interest in planar melding and the fresh study of Steam Magic.

Please, feel free to utilize the facility as you see fit.

Thank you for taking a look, I am glad you enjoyed it. Still some space for growth, so I can't wait to see what they'll introduce next.

Very cool, your eye for light and shadow - using it to create ambiance or add to the mood without overdoing it is very very awesome.
