Default Derp Street on Zaviel EU

    Greetings.
Let me introduce my more or less finished latest dimension.
I have already built a street segment in Pedal To The Metal, my contest entry, and I thought, why not expand on that idea a bit and build some more varied buildings/shops... Creating an illusion of a small city street was more fun than I first thought. I didn't have any concept in my mind when I started. Wanted to make an eating place, and it turned out to be a diner. So then the rest of the street became a bit of sort of an american style rather than european. I hope that doesn't make me seem weird. There are 6 shops, 2 of which you can enter, and an apartment.
Please visit and tell me what you think.

I think I grew up on the next block... I'd have to see the candy store to be sure...

Great job, lot of nice work.

Loved how you finished it out from the last time I saw it. The jukebox is perfect, and the guns in the pawn shop made me laugh...but not quite as much as the old console TV and the boom box.

Another great build. I don't know how you do it!

It's awesome, Seyler! It was evening when I visited and I enjoyed the street scene just that much more since it was after dusk. When I was looking out to the street below from the upstairs apartment window, it reminded me of places I've lived. Could have been my old neighborhood back when I lived in San Francisco. That's a happy memory.

I was there and it was pretty awesome. So much detail is almost a pitty, cause it means you hit the item cap fast and can't build more shops

I visited yesterday evening and I loved it! Especially the T-Shirts/Sweaters in the Fashion store!

I tried to jump through the window, but couldn't break in hahaha

Did you use invisible barriers on each end of the street?

Oh, the trashcan outside the diner is awesome!

@Polynomia: Thank you! And another thank you for your help

@Rali: Thank you. And you know I love every one of your builds too!

@Yinz: I don't know what that is, but thank you xD

@Slipmat: I think I will need to build a dedicated shrine somewhere soon to satisfly my megalomaniac guild leader ;D

@Wonk: Very kind of you to imply that it looks like a real street

@Feendish: Thank you very much for your suggestions, they helped a lot. How I "do" it is I let the dim build itself, kinda xD

@Bridgit: Very flattering that you say that, thank you so much. I'm so glad that I could remind you of good memories Thank you for always taking the time to come over and check out my builds. I hope you continue your work with the Verse as well, it's amazing and I'm sure you can do things next that will make my jaw drop even more

@Veldan: Yep, always have to balance between detail and volume, and I'd rather choose the detail because I like building small scale and I enjoy trying to put together everyday objects.

@Valarana: Thank you. I enjoyed your Olympus build very much, it is gorgeous.

@Agrona: Glad you liked it! Sorry for being weird. If you want a european style building, maybe check my wooden church that looks a bit scandinavian. I don't have many buildings yet. For both the barriers at the end, and the shop windows I used the Flagstone Tile Facade, because it is invisible from one side and quite cheap.

Everybody: Huge thanks to everyone that took their time to visit, and special thanks for all the comments.

I can imagine how much fun this was to create, I love all the details, each building was really unique and the street lights were very believable, the florist shop, pizza, jukebox, boombox, and the Pac-Man shirt in the Fashion store are just a handful of my favorites. The whole dimension was fun to explore, another wonderful build Seyler, awesome job!
