Default Part I: The Great Castle of Ashlaryn

    Hey Rifters!

Well my second dimension is about 95% complete and I'm going to open it up to the public. I've seen some wonderful castles during my dimensional travels and I wanted to try my own. Like my Dragonsreach dimension, I used about 90% building blocks. This time, however, I focused on the exterior rather than strictly interior. I think you'll enjoy this as much as I did creating it!

In addition, I'm going to try to create a story that begins with this dim and continues with the next 4-5.

As always, have fun and enjoy!

    Here are a couple screens:

The first castle pic is an old shot taken August 7th, 1902 - it's completion day.Part I: The Great Castle of Ashlaryn-2014-02-08_094119.jpg

The king and queen have suddenly vanished. Their two daughters remain in the castle - closed off from the world. They allow guests to visit, but must remain outside. After one year of intense searching, no leads have come up. Are they still alive? Are they safe? Sadly, no one knows...save for one...

    truly stunning exteriors!

I am assuming from the storyline, that the interiors are closed off.. but likely due to item count?

I must must must visit this dim!

This castle is very pretty, congratulations on an amazing build. I love the arched windows and parts. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Thank you. Yes due to the item count, I was unable to create interiors so I used that in the story. Since this is a story arc connecting upcoming dims, you may just see the interior!

Thanks. Haha, yeah I did spend quite a bit putting this together. Basically I heard two comments from my wife during the build:

1- Wow! I love it, it's coming along great.
2- Another $20?? You owe me!

Yes I do owe her. Luckily Valentine's Day is right around the corner.

    Default Unbelieveable!

When I first saw this, right after you posted, I thought these were pictures of the castle you were using for your model!!!! But now, after looking again, and seeing the comments from others, I am just without words.......

    Default Stunning!

Like Foxfire, I thought that first black and white shot was an actual castle after which you modeled your dim. Wow! Can't wait to see this in-game!
