    Default Eden Blossom Cottage

    Eden Blossom Cottage by Jaida

    Dimension Name: Eden Blossom Cottage
    Dimension zone: Dolcega Valley
    Character Name: Jaida
    Server: Zaviel

It's a bit typical but i figured my main's first dimension should be a house, after all every toon needs a home. I'll do something more whacky and creative for my next build. I didn't want to overload the post with screenshots so I've just taken one of each main room and the building itself. I'd love for you all to come and see it so I've left things out so that you have a reason to visit. I'm not after votes but they are of course welcome.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Very nice! One of the most realistic ones I've seen so far. I especially like how you did the closets. Seems very simple, but I can't figure them out. What did you use for the doors and the handles?

Edit: Psst, The books and ink well on the desk in the study on your top floor are floating. Gotta fix that! ;)

Beautiful home. Well done 1st timer. Looks like you have been doing it many times over. You have a home to be proud of.

Bookcases! I went bookcase mad. Seriously they work for everything. It's the same wide bookcase turned around and made a bit smaller. the slit in the middle is part of the old book case showing through. The handles are the blue chests turned sideways and shoved in (they has such nice gold handles).

Had no idea they were floating, Thank you very much for seeing that. I'll go fix that now.

    Thank you.
It's actually my second build, just my first one on my main. I made my first on my alt before i new the wonders of toolbox. It's not very good and i plan to destroy it now that i've got the hang of things hehe.

Thank you! I'm gonna copy that, if you don't mind.

Those bookcases! I use them for so much furniture too =D They also match some of the additional furniture pieces, like the guardian map table and the map standy thing. I used them for couches, dressers, tables, bed frames, head boards, end tables... <3 Bookcases!

I love the way you used the chest for the handles very clever! I wonder if you could use some of the urns or even the simple cauldron for handles. You would have to tilt them at the right angle but it might work.

I also love the layout of your cottage!

Seems anything can be a handle. I turned the small chest of drawers backwards, stuck the card tables on the front to be doors and then used brown brick poles as the handles. They matched that creamy gold colour perfectly. (That's in the bedroom under the clock).

Bathroom drawer handles I used jugs.

The front doors handles are two jugs mashed together.

The fridge (that looks like a cuboard) has brown brick tiles as handles.

I think as long as you find a shape and colour that matches whatever you've built, it will work.

I used copper teapots for mine for a bit more rustic design. But I agree on the chest handles, they're a very nice touch.
