still in headstart. if after a few months, things were impossible to craft, then I'd say there was a problem. But really.... we are only a few days in . Wait for some of the dust to settle.

As far as I know, Trion doesn't award prizes when you finish teh game, so take your time and enjoy the journey.

There are NPCS that, with enough renown, sell you blue items. Granted, those items are expensive to us right now, but it may be a possible solution.

Nonetheless, i see your problem. For a lvl 24 sword, such a requirement should not be. Why break a blue one to craft a new blue one that might even be inferior?

And how many lvl 24s are ever going to see that sword? Why have it in game anyway?

To the rest of you, i'm on the Silkweb server. Did the thought possibly occur to you that i actually *gasp* checked the market. I checked it every time i came back to town over the course of a 5 hour play session, not one.

Hell, there was only even 1 shifting planar dust on the market over that period. Thankfully i had the second (and only 1) i got from leveling 1-23.

I'm sorry but the items are too uncommon. These are blues, not purples, if they were purples, i'd shut the **** up and stop whining. But these are blues, low level blues at that.

Perhaps my server is just behind the curve, and thats why things seem worse than they are to me.

Edit: Just thought id mention i logged on before work to check, still none on the market...
I have a few in my bank left over and I'm on Silkweb, I'll help you out. Morena is the name I am pretty sure I'm the only Runecrafter over 225 (I was the server first 300 Runecrafter). Hopefully you are a Guardian

games been live for 3 days and you're complaining that you don't have enough rare powder supply to level your craft ... and during head start?

wow ... go play it ... it hands everything to you from the start

give it a week and let the supply build

Run more instances- that's the easiest way to get blue items... that will eventually get broken down. That and daily workorders... I've gotten plenty of mats... even 'rare' items that way. Only level 20 and I'm doing 4/day. Not sure what the limit is... but plenty of opportunities.

Man i love the responses. Pretty much the only people saying "They aren't rare, i have a bajillion of them" are... *gasp* the rune crafters. Thats like a diamond seller telling some normal person that diamonds arent rare because he has 200 in his store. Its a ridiculous argument.

As for the WOW comments, give me a friggin break. I'm an EQ vet, i'm no stranger to working for my gear. The difference in EQ and this game is leveling speed. In EQ i didnt mind spending 3 days re running a dungeon at level 20 for 1 item because i knew i would actually get some use out of it.

When you can level 2-4 times in a day, relatively easily, in the 20's, there is really no excuse for low level blues to be that hard to come by. You've got recipes that take you pretty much doing every quest in the zone to get enough faction for, that then cost 1.4plat, and then you can't even recoup your money by making the item and selling it because all blue crafted items in the game apparently rely completely on a single crafting class to make.

The only valid argument i've seen here, and it is a very good argument, is that its incredibly early in the life of the game. I will accept that argument.

Once again to the people who used reason, logic, and stayed positive, thank you for your responses. The rest of you, go back to briarcliff and pwn some n00b carebears and drink their tears, or whatever it is you guys say.
