Ah, but I would if it were considered respectable to do that with a fan fiction. However, since the original idea wasn't mine, and I am simply expounding on it and shaping it, I can't claim it legally short of changing every single name/location/concept that could point back to Rift/Trion. Haha! I've actually contacted them a few times, but they are too busy to worry about publishing novellas I think. They did say they would like to, however. So I bug them about every 6 months or so
