Duel or single weapon?

I can duel wield or use my 2h. Which is better? Is there a difference for a ranged spec such as tempest?

I cannot find any information about this.

Most of the time you'll want to dual wield. Faster attack time mean more procs from some spells like Icy burst from rift blade off soul.

2-Hand weapons are fine , but you'll get a bit more dps out of 2 1-hand.

DPS specs that benefit from auto attacks or fast damage procs (Riftblade, Paragon, Warlord are the big three) you should use 1 handers. Other roles and dps specs (like healing souls or Tempest, Reaver) get more benefit from the 2 hander since it has more stats.
