Here’s a quick list of the winning presets from the contest for Warrior:
    1. Misc: Dendrome Defender - Warbad
    2. DPS: Warslinger - Warbad
    3. Tank: Void Knight - RoughRaptors
    4. Support: The Beastlord - YobiRaion
    5. Tank: Reaver - RoughRaptors
    6. DPS: Lord of War - Rorsch
    7. DPS: Riftblade - DPS
With your noted plans for Reaver, should it even be on this list any longer?

Reaver won't be receiving those changes for quite some time, so might as well.
Burst before or after Rift implosion, never both.

This is correct. Also, to answer a question posted earlier in this thread, the presets are "easy" to change. It's just not something that I want to get into the habit of changing constantly. We'll be doing some work on them in the future though with the 3.0 souls coming into play.

Just out of curiosity, which Purpose is best for a character that's intended to be a "pure fighter"? I want to play a DPS warrior who relies on fighting with two swords with little to no magic. Is that even possible?

    Overlord for solo'ing/open world content/chronicles
Lord of War or Slayer for single dps.
Burst before or after Rift implosion, never both.

Thank you so much. Looks like I'm going to be looking into the Overlord, then. :-)

Default Stat priority for "Overlord" preset

I've looked and looked (and looked and looked...), but seems no-one posted a breakdown of the stats priority for the Overlord preset yet.

The Overlord preset is based on the following guide:
    http://forums.riftgame.com/game-disc...n-warlord.html

Unfortunately, the guide doesn't go into the stats priority, at all.

Would someone, who's not numerically challenged like myself, in things like this, be kind enough to post an overview of Overlord stat weights?

Currently I use the pure Warlord stat weights, as a guide, but I have no idea how well it compares to the Overlord hybrid.

Stat weights are for Endgame DPS specs. You don't step into a Raid as an overlord, so there's not reason to have figured them out. Buttt... just increase the weight on str by like 1/3 and you'll get cose enough.

Thank you for answering my question.

The reason I'm asking is with regards to potential gear upgrades while leveling. Knowing the stat weights allows players to make better choices as to what is a worthwhile upgrade from loot drops or items bought from the AH. I.e. this knowledge is useful for all players, not just those who are already level 60 and raiding.

I use an add-on called 'UpgradeMe', which comes with a number of presets, but not the Overlord one (yet). I'll adjust the Strength stat weight in the add-on accordingly.

Extra strengh weight only really comes into play once you have Berserker. Not sure what level that is. In the preset anyway.
