Yup it going to impact warrior soloing ability big time. Rethink the consequences of the changes Ailion. It's going to have a significant impact on warrior leveling and soloing.

I wouldn't say significant yet, but it will change a very versatile solo spec for the worse.

I was so hopeful when I saw a number of lines of changes, then I read them. So basically battle surge is suicidal, defensive surge still doesn't do anything to speak of except nerf your own damage done.

Also, soldier's bearing now nerfed to 3% killing synergy with paragon...

I'm kinda lost. Hopefully you understand that's wrong. Also what about cc in warlord? Make charges root for 2 seconds like others do at least?

You're going to take 15% more damage when you use offensive surge. It's definitely going to hurt soloing and levelling big time.

It would absolutely murder wl in pvp, where it's already an underdog on the lower verge of being viable next to 61 rb. I can't belive this would go through, it is borderline insane.

It hasn't gone through, that's what PTS is for.

These changes do not "help" anything. Raising champs single target damage is pretty cool, but all the other changes are nerfs. Maybe we need them, who knows...

    Suggestion:

Into the Breach, Clear the Breach: No longer have a shared cooldown between them.

Tactical Advance: Now also refreshes Sergeant’s Order and Battlefield Medic.

Defensive Surge: Now increases Block, Parry and Evade by 15% (incl base stats), and reduces damage taken from spells by 15%. Also reduces damage dealt by 15%.

Battle Surge: Now increases Attack Power and Weapon Contribution by 15%. While under the effects of Battle Surge, allows Piercing Thrust to apply a 5% armor debuff on a successful hit stackable up to 25%. Also increases damage taken by 15%.

Battle Surge and Defensive Surge cannot be activated together, which means as a player we have to choose when to use them more decisively. Defensive surge is quite straight forward on what it does, while Battle Surge makes us more dangerous in a ST physical dps as the fight goes longer but we also take more damage. High risk high reward.

The change you suggest to offensive surge is still going to make soloing and pvp much harder for warriors. If Ailion intends to nerf the 41/35 build, just make it such that the two surges in their current live state can't be used together, if you have defensive posture up. So you either take the defense or the offense, when tanking.

Battle Surge is overrated in solo play but I hear you

Fork: Now a Toggle ability. No longer cost Power. Causes Riftblade’s to no longer use Fork. Ever.

For PVE: Using Defensive Surge to kill trash via Killing Field or Champs AOE means you don't take as much damage but with a 15% damage reduction. That's more than enough to stay alive to kill trash vs current live and to switch over to Battle Surge when one tough critter is left. In this state you progressively do more ST physical damage with the armor debuff while taking 15% more damage.

For PVP: You can start off with Battle Surge and start wailing on a target, once you get focused, you then have the chance to use Defensive Surge to try and stay alive by getting out of range, out of LOS or get some heals.

It's not going to make pve or pvp harder, it gives you better reactionary choices to use being defensive or offensive compared to the current live states.

Hahaha ikr. Fork needs to have a 15s CD and be oGCD and it damn sure doesn't need to be a 50% reduction
