So, as it seems according to the PTS, the new highend gear from ID will get less and less Crit as it goes, even if it gets a taf more Dex than what we can get with HK ( thus lowering the crit rating amount needed to be capped ).
It seems that, in order to get enough crit rating, we will have to throw quite some AP away by remodelling our focus ( assuming in live gear, we were already switching some crit essences to AP essences ). Using a Dex seal, "rogues" rings/necklaces, and enchanting full crit is barely enough to reach 1015 with the gear stashed in the ID relic bags (with the 2hander which, like the Kraken, hasn't got any crit rating ). Assuming this is the gear providing the highest amount of crit and dex, the progression will probably be painful.
Now, it *is* possible to maintain the crit cap.
However, would you think that our priorities could switch?
Does it look like staying crit-capped, at the cost of a lot of AP, is really worth it?
Someone ( our dearest Pfalcon, I think ) pointed out that 3 ap = 5 crit. Considering this data, would it be a better idea, instead of focusing on Crit, to rather work toward maintaining this ratio ?
Maximize AP regardless of crit cap ; balance AP and Crit regardless of cap around a specific ratio ; or maintain the crit-cap at all cost ?
