You are missing shifting blades brah, PS>RW>SLI>DS>RW>SB>DS>RW>RH.. and so on

if you're starting the test with 3 AP's do 2 reaping harvests first before going into the shifting rotation. You'll get more shifting/paired strike combo's that way through the test.

dunno i always start with 3 AP's. Even on raid fights if i don't have 3 AP's before a fight i'll duel somebody to get the 3 AP's

51 CH / 13 RB / 2 BM ~ approximately 3.2k for 5 mins (T2 Raid gear). I think this is slightly under DW still but only marginally. Considering the AoE potential on this spec, I think a very nice balance has been struck.

Except that 44/20 doesn't parse anywhere near 3.2k and 38 Para/6 RB has been nerfed by the most recent change (though to what extent remains to be seen).

When I was parsing 44/22/0 and 38/22/6 last night Soldier's was a much higher dps increase than Slayer's, so any tests should be done with that.

I find it rather amusing that 350+ pages later we're back where we started: a 2H spec - that also happens to have the best AoE - leading the pack.

That change won't change anything and let me tell you why. To proc either of those attacks you need to do either Dual Strike, Paired Strike, or Rising Waterfall. The bursts will be procced on those initial attacks.

Atrius already said what it means, and it involves no nerf to 38/22/6 since you proc the burst with DS, not WotW or DG. So still 3 bursts per SLI.

Ok, so Deadly Grace and WotW, which are counted as separate attacks from DS/RW, are the only things that won't trigger bursts?

In that case agreed, it shouldn't change much for 38Para/6Rb.

Not sure what exactly the point of this change is, then, but meh, don't much care to go looking for trouble.
